- Merry Christmas friendssss! We hope however you're spending Christmas, you find some joy. Sending love to you all! Happy Holidays from us to you ❤️
This week we talk about what Christmas is like for us as the only gays in the family. We also get into the Masc and Femme relationship dynamic. Mascs are also the prize!!
Of course we had to talk about the ban on puberty blockers. We understand that this is a sensitive topic and we have tried to handle it with as much sensitivity and care. If we have misspoken, please let us know with grace in the comments.

Thanks again for your support x
Merry Christmas! Love the podcast. Something I’d add to the puberty blockers conversation is that they have been using them for children going through precocious puberty for decades. I think its telling that they are only banning them for trans children not cis children which to me points to it being part of this anti trans sentiment rather than because they are an unsafe medication
the title is so messy but so real LMAOO. i feel like we can all think of someone specifc on our individual TL’s that has a catastrophic event happening to them every other month. like at this point do you need donations or some holy water? it be like say someone is doing juju 🤣😭
4:42 hearing this as a grinch who also hates feeling trapped at gatherings makes me feel seen, thanks Nana 🥰
I saw the title and burst out laughing, especially the twitter ones
Colourism in the UK is real in every corner of our communities standard.
17:59 😭😭😭😭😭😭 nah bffr
I cackled
As someone who grew up hella religious and no longer believes in any god /religion, something that's always baffled me about the bible and the way people swear by it is that it didn't start getting written until about 100 yrs after the death of jesus, 100YEARS!!! A century! And it wasn't all written at the same time.
Now, think of a game of telephone and how the point of the game is how distorted a msg could get when passed between a few people, in the span of minutes.
What do you think centuries and thousands probably millions of people will do to a supposed msg?? 🤔
Its honestly the most BIZZARE thing to me the way religious people are so brainwashed.
Although, when I think about how religion works through sowing fear, especially when people are most vulnerable in their formative years and in their lowest times, then it's more understandable and I just feel sorry for the people that are trapped by it.
the way i wasss waiting for this ep - perfect Xmas gift ! merry xmas all

I just think we’re going too far with everything
Puberty blockers been banned for kids under 18 is not a bad thing I think kids should be allow to express themselves and figure out their gender or sexuality or their development but needs to be limitations cz at the end of the day your body needs to developed naturally and when it’s time you can take and change w.e you need to do
Sometimes supporting to the extreme can be enabling and not parenting
Perfect Christmas treat omds 🤍🤍🤍I think the thing that stings me the most about the blocker ban is that GnRH analogues are the one thing that gives adolescents time - which like y'all mentioned, is so needed at a stage where they're still figuring out so much about themselves. From a pharmacist perspective 🫣, the risks associated with puberty blockers are undeniable, they always have been. But from a governmental/regulatory pov, the benefits of puberty blockers don't seem to outweigh the risks; but only when it comes to trans people (which is why it's still licensed for use in precocious puberty). I can't see how they came to this conclusion without bias, especially when you consider the data around trans people and su!c1de, self harm etc. The decision of a parent acting in the perceived best interest of their child should always be respected, so I just can't see why tighter prescribing requirements + parental authorisation (+ maybe mandatory trial/review periods?) wouldn't be enough? Medical transphobia at it's finest.
