I think that the black halter neck dress is lovely as is the long skirt, definite keepers, also the floral trousers. I also loved the red top on you, it was flattering, a good colour and shape for you, but online I didn't get the effect of the sequins/beads which had put you off it. Have a nice day!

Think you were spot on with your choices. I see clothes and think, yes that would look good with this and that and then when I try it out at home, I think, "no no no, whats gone wrong" and get disappointed haha. I have so many lovely clothes but am not good at putting things together so I end up in my comfort zone wearing jeans and linen trousers. I find your clothes 'try on' vlogs really inspirational. Just had a thought, perhaps I should film myself wearing different outfits, moving about from different angles then I could watch them back and see what works for me. ❤
Honestly, filming really does help, it gives you an entirely different perspective on how things look on you. :)
I loved the little mustard dress (mustard is very much one of my colours), I think it would look super cute with the denim jacket. I also really liked those floral trousers, they looked fab. It’s a shame about the embellishments on the red blouse because that was really nice too.

I thought everything looked great on you. I liked the mustard dress, but sometimes you can have had enough of a colour. I thought the tiered tops looked really flattering on you. I liked the blue tie-dye skirt, I think that would look nice with the denim jacket. That white top and flowery trousers are a fabulous look! I remember having some similar trousers 50 years ago when I was 13!! I can't believe my age! 😢

I agree, thought the red top looked great on her and nothing wrong with a few embellishments. Cropped trousers, top and jacket, pair of wedges or flats suit our age bracket, I am around your age and remember wearing big wide trousers in yellow back in 1972/73, what was I thinking!
Absolutely love the leggings and the skirt and white top but not sure about the rest they would make me look massive but really enjoy your haul I'm shielding so I enjoy watching what people buy thank you love from Scotland x

I really do like the leopard print dress. Very elegant. Love the leggings, maybe you need the tunic in s size 20? Great red coloured. the blue skirt with the tie dye was perfect.
Just need a black dress without pockets to go under the denim jacket.

This was you're first video I've seen and I LOVED it. Your body size and proportions are nearly identical to my own so it's very helpful to see you try on things I may not have been brave enough to try otherwise. I sincerely hope to see more videos like this one.

Good morning its a pity the short black dress didn't match the denim jkt. Why not try the skirt and a black top or try a double denim with a dress or pinafore style, well food for thought. Red was gorgoues.

I actually liked the mustard color dress on you. But you have to be happy with the outfits.
Some very nice pieces. The floral trousers looked lovely with the white top and it would with a black one.. fashionable length too.
Also thought the black dress with pockets would be useful for days when your at home or popping out., comfy casual yet smart ish.
Shame you didn't like the red top glitter as it really suited you, colour and style. What's wrong with a bit of glitter after 7pm for drinks, dinner or barbecue..

The denim jacket with the mustard dress and leggings would look really cute. I'm 51 too, and I'm 5'7" and a size 16 on bottom and a size 20 up top. I have to tailor most of my tops to fit properly. Its no fun. Thanks for the haul. I enjoyed it.
Enjoyed this try-on video. I feel the same as you said at the beginning, have not bought any clothes for a long while as, being in lockdown, have not been out anywhere to wear them. However did buy a dress this week from TK Maxx which was only £10. I like their fashions at they’re individual and they don’t have rails of the same items. A wardrobe sort out would be good, something I need to do too!
I'm going to attempt a wardrobe sort out next week, I think, long overdue!
Ebay do 3/4 leggings. Different seller but same make leggings (I havnt tried them on yet but they feel the same) £3.99. Im the same with my denim jacket it just sits there unworn but I love it x

Morning. Fun try on. I have to say the tiered look is definitely not for me. My bottom is bigger than my top and I feel it doesn't work for me! Love the skirt, black dress and the trousers too. Agree with you about the dress pockets and jacket. But the combo looks nice. X
I think sadly the tiered look is not for me either, which is shame because I do like it a lot x

Morning Caroline, I bought a pair of printed trousers last year and I've worn them loads.Love the black dress and the navy and white skirt and the denim jacket. I have GOT to lose the stone I've gained over lockdown before I buy anything - sadly, progress is slow. Why is it so easy to gain weight and so hard to lose it.

Red is your colour and the shape of the shirt was good but agree sequins not required. The tapered trousers with plain tops - endless combinations. Denim jacket - will you keep it? Hard to find one that has stretch and is well enough cut, hence I don't have one, but would like to have as I admire "the look" you were after.

Hi Susan - yes, definitely keeping the denim jacket, it doesn't do up, but I wouldn't wear it done up anyway, and it's the first one I've tried that I like the cut and doesn't either drown me or feel too tight!
