I'm a linguist, I have a degree in linguistics which is the scientific study of language. I'm frequently astounded at your mastery of English, it's very impressive how well you speak it! As a linguist I know exactly how difficult that level of second language mastery can be to achieve. Don't listen to the haters!
As for the "th" sounds like in "thin" and "then", those are some of the most difficult sounds to learn for non native English speakers. They are both exceptionally rare cross linguistically, you won't find them almost anywhere else. Yet they are EVERYWHERE in English, even in the definite article "the"! The only time I've seen you stumble on a pronunciation at all is when a "th" sound is involved which is entirely understandable and does not demonstrate a lack of English mastery.
Tl;dr you do not need a speech therapist. Your English is exceptional!

@@capercaillieskye are the th sounds especially difficult from Swedish to English? I live in a state with a large Swedish community, and there are some jokes/impressions of swedes that always change th sounds to t sounds to mimic the accent.

Not only is your English amazing and the breadth of your vocabulary, your use of English idioms and colloquial language is on point too which most people who speak English as a second language don’t use. I am constantly impressed at how people from Scandinavian countries speak English so well.

Add me to all those who believe your mastery of English is very impressive! A lot of times people who critique somebody’s English are those who have NEVER attempted to learn a second language, and therefore do not appreciate how difficult it actually is.

Ange, despite our relatively small population, we Australians are everywhere across RUclips. Please, take it as an honour to have so many supporters from our country. I've followed your Channel for many years now, yet not always as a subscriber due to wanting to cut down on how many Channels I subscribe to altogether. It doesn't mean that I don't watch your videos, I most definitely do. I saw this palette on Unearthly's website a few days ago on pre-order and it was love at first sight, although the shipping price had me totally floored! When the very first video that appeared on my home page was yours reviewing this palette, I couldn't click on fast enough. I just hope that I'm able to score this palette in future via another means. I have to draw the line when ⅔ of the palette price is what shipping costs, then add the palette price. Actually, most Indie Brands charge more than the palette itself for shipping. I must thank you for keeping your prices from your own brand for shipping at an acceptable level. I was looking on it after you announced your new products. In general, your prices are very good. I am not done watching your video but heard your comment about people saying you need speech therapy and in the middle of a public space blurted "EW!" I had to pause and comment. Anyone who says that is gross and probably would speak your native language with a much worse accent, if they ever bothered to learn. You speak English better than a lot of native speakers, especially here in the south. You're amazing, and I hope you don't let online haters get to you.
ETA reviews aren't popular anymore?! If not reviews or tutorials, what are people watching in makeup? Hauls? All they make me want to do is shop and I had to stop watching them for the sake of my sanity and bank account.

I'm 62 and love vivid, weird color combos. Sometimes, just messing around, I'll have several palettes out and a bottle of micellar water playing with whatever color suits me. I'm not too much of a neutral person.
Angie, the eyeliner you're using at the beginning of the video... absolutely beautiful. Worked so well with your skin tone and makes your eyes pop. Also, please don't allow any comments to get to your head. Your English is very good, and anyone with the ability to speak more than one language is beyond impressive.

I am French Canadian, Native American on my Dad's side. Mom is Scottish and Welsh decent. Spoke Frenglish until I moved to where I am speaking English with a French accent. Now and then, my first question people ask. Are you from Ireland (when I worked as the hostess with the mostess they call me. 😅) and I think how does a French accent sounds like an Irish.... ow! I hurt my feeling on that one. I tell people. Oh, you can speak french? It makes them think. I was called a frog (loose term for french people.) I said damn straight ribbit ribbit doing ballet 😂 Also. Just because we get into our older years, like 40s - 60s, it does not mean we need neutrals and blasé browns. I am not there. However, I can appreciate the mix of colours in my collection. I can also appreciate and love cool neutrals. I have a warm palette and a cool tone neutrals with a cool toned orange/red, purple, and greens in them. I love my Ace Beaute palettes the most. Smokey Roses is a cool tone palette that you can go deep with, or light. Muted purple, blues. It is neutral with a twist. My only gripe is 3 of the shades will not work because they match my skin tone. 😊❤

@eimearinez so true. I would smile. The pub actually had a wall from Ireland and the red doors and postal place where I stood in absolute pain. However, I love mushy peas with my Guiness steak, and potatoes were so yummy. Potatoes pancakes, but I am not fond of them. 😕 LMAO! Also, the best beer. I quit when I was diagnosed with Fibro and Nerve Damage, to name a couple.

To me, this palette reminds me a lot of the Cosmic Brushes "Cooltrals" palette, it's very similar in colour story and general vibes.

My late grandmother was Danish, and she retained her accent even after living in the us for decades. I always find Scandinavian accents to be pleasant and comforting to listen to, which is one of the many reasons I like your videos. Accents are beautiful, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise

Thank you for this bonus video. I love that you pair the most unlikely colors (for me) and make me want to be adventurous. This palette is perfect as it mixes fun pops with neutrals and is mostly cool tones.

Screw those people telling you that you should be "better" at speaking English. You are great at it and really understand the grammer. It's normal for anyone to find words they have never seen or heard of before and not say it correctly. Especially people living in the US have no room to criticize with our very limited language education.

And for those who think English is easy, it's definitely not. For example this is difficult to read, even for a native speaker: "English can be weird. It can be understood through tough thorough thought, though."

Hi, longtime German viewer here. I also see more and more German viewers in the comments and even in other comment sections mentioning you😄♥️ one of my theories is that there are not many German RUclipsrs being pure makeup channels anymore so the true makeup enjoyers have to spread internationally. Also, indie makeup becomes more popular in the EU in general.
