Thegamer101135 You have a point but I think it had more to do with Highway to hell,Back in Black and For those about to rock just being so damn good they had too much to live up to afterwards.
Flick of the Switch is often overlooked..I think its better than For those about to rock... Mind you can't argue with The Bible ( Back in Black ) Class..
@@111highgh IMO BUYV could have been waaay better had a few things went differently. The recording quality was just lame. Imagine the crunch of LTBR on that album with the bass moving your innards. And the replaced songs still on it. And a title who's rationale wouldn't vaporize with the 80's. I try to appreciate it now and then for what it is. Most rock bands should be so lucky to make as good an album. But I think it was harmed by the greatness that could have been.
FLY ON THE WALL album only sounded good when played - very loud! - on a decent system. But live, songs like this are SO GOOD! It's such a pity they don't play them anymore. If only Angus would drop all the boring nonsense we've seen a million times ( the 'call and response' stuff, the one out solo during JAILBREAK etc,etc...) and just play these incredible songs. FLICK OF THE SWITCH is another one. Won't happen of course and I suppose we should be grateful for the magic that still happens.
I saw these guys in 1985 on this tour in Reno. I was so close to the stage that Angus was sweating on us. Ynwgie Malmsteen was the opening act. It was one hell of a good show. I still have my t-shirt. It doesn't fit anymore. It appears to have shrunk.
Ha, I’m with you! Wasn’t fortunate enough to see them live until they rolled thru Atlanta GA on the Black Ice tour about 9 years ago. Best live show I’ve ever seen, period.
AC/DC Fly On The Wall in Boston was my first concert. I was fifteen and convinced that Angus would marry me...this silly 45 year old is still holding onto hope.
right on man! its because there a live band! there not a album band! all their songs fucking rock live! but sometimes the mix or producer just doesnt give the songs justice to album!! everysong is fuckin amazing live! thats why there the best, heaps of artists make good album cos they add effects and alter things, but thats not what being a band is about, its bout performing and being able to play something for years ithout stuffing up once!! AC/DC are my idols and the worlds underates them!
Flick of the switch kicked ass, so raw and powerful, I don't think Brian could pull the songs of today, the effort it must of taken to sing them in his prime, amazing album, fly on the wall was a decent album with some decent tracks but probably my least Favourite to listen to.
The Flick Of The Switch and Fly On The Wall albums are absolutely boss!
+Shawn Bailey but was ruined by thunderstruck being overrated as hell

@disc_oidal you seem like the person who liked their own comment so that they dont feel as lonely as they do in real life.

Mike Fraser just needs to remix this album, Blow Up Your Video, and maybe Flick of the Switch to showcase how fantastic these albums are
