I think they stay away from it because of the difficult hammering on guitar part in the key of C, I'm not really even sure how he done it here but as a guitarist, the only way I can think that it might be possible is to put a capo on the guitar, so I assume this is why I've hardly ever seen them do this live. EDIT: Or they put the part over it with a backing track? I don't know you'd have to ask the band lol
Saw this show Feb 1988 Tennis Centre Melbourne. Saturday Night - Second Show. They blew the roof off the place. Brilliant Show. Loud as Fuck.lt was Rocking Big Time.l was 17. R.i.p Malcolm Young.
I can’t stop watching this video. It’s the anticipation that comes to me while the intro is playing, it makes the hairs stand up on my arms and neck! 👏🏻🖤
I read that they did a mini-tour supporting the "Who Made Who" Maximum Overdrive soundtrack album but had never seen footage of it until now. Thanks for posting this!
I have a reoccurring dream that I'm somewhere outside and these guys come down the street playing this song on a stage being pulled behind a truck and it's epic every time! 😅😂
Damn! I wish they’d perform this song on tour next! Course they did problem child for the first time since 01 last tour! I was not at that show but I seen it pop up on my RUclips notifications! So maybe they’ll do who made who!!!!!!!!!
So much sitting Away in Vault Like this and more ,, To Angus now is the time to get it on the Market before it Is to Late to Do So ,Whoever put this up ,,THANK YOU ,Reminds me of Sept 86 Concert At ,,The Cow Palace in San Francisco as with all those Bay Area Tours 77to 2008 What Great Times ,RIP ,ACDC Thanks For those Memories
Wireless system have existed since the early 1980s. Steve Harris and Geezer Butler used wireless systems since 1980/1981. Angus Young too... Malcolm and Cliff used cables because didn't move around the stage, only to make the backing vocals.
This and thunderstruck are mind blowing. I like Johnson's vocals but wish I could hear those classics with Scott's vocals. AC/DC never gets old and there will never be another like them.
This is certainly one of the best songs from the Brian Johnson era . It starts out pretty moderate like it's not gonna do much but it kicks in like crazy and you know when you see Angus you're in Swing.
I´m a big Phil Rudd fan, but at this track you can hear, that Simon makes a good job for this track. It´s Simons rhythm, no other one´s. He recorded it, he plays it best live. Stefan
Awesome upload! A couple of,corrections. The Ft Wayne show was in Memorial Coliseum and was on Sept 7 not the 6th. It was my second concert and it was amazing! Thanks for a great memory!
they were banned in Vancouver for 5 years for blowing a hole in the roof at the PNE colosseum and split town with out paying for damages in 1982 and i wanted to see the live in 1985 fly on the wall tour thats when ticket master told me the news about them being banned but i got to see them in 1988 blow up your video tour and i was the happiest teen in Vancouver B.C.
Malcolm off out of the spotlight as usual. Playing under Angus isn’t easy, but his brother had that skill set, no problem. Scott Ian from Anthrax might be the only rhythm guitarist alive that could play under Angus Young, with AC/DC. The game of thrones done by Fender is all you need to know about Scott Ian and his capable hands during that run of solos. He is lovin it. The composer had him in that chair for a reason.🎶❤️ AC/DC brought us raw rock songs with great solos. 🎶❤️😎
Good year that. They did confiscate my belt though...worried I'd use it as a weapon. ..I was like..man that's a lot of belts and weapons in bins at the doors..I can't believe they thought we aren't nice peeps out in the suburbs..damn it .found my knife..anything else ..FUK U let me through!
Just listen to the crowd when angus becomes visible. Pure. Worship.
Yes, He scorched it!!!!!!! So LOVE THIS VIDEO....
I'm not for worship but the admiration for Angus is well deserved. The guy is the best character in rock and roll. Unmistakable and so unique.
This is phenomenal, they should have played this more
I think they stay away from it because of the difficult hammering on guitar part in the key of C, I'm not really even sure how he done it here but as a guitarist, the only way I can think that it might be possible is to put a capo on the guitar, so I assume this is why I've hardly ever seen them do this live.

Saw this show in Sydney 1988,The place just went BANANAS.
Saw this show Feb 1988 Tennis Centre Melbourne. Saturday Night - Second Show. They blew the roof off the place. Brilliant Show. Loud as Fuck.lt was Rocking Big Time.l was 17. R.i.p Malcolm Young.
Old stage lights are the best. No LED shit. Glowing long after they are turned off. So cool.
Wow, this is a really good performance, sounds just like the album.
saw this tour in Montreal in 86 ,best show I've ever seen,
I always loved this song. Great time to be alive. I'd go back in a second.
I can’t stop watching this video. It’s the anticipation that comes to me while the intro is playing, it makes the hairs stand up on my arms and neck! 👏🏻🖤
These are the amazing videos. Made in a time when you had to sneak a video camera into a show! No "small" feat!
When history was recorded.
Best intro/first song for a live show ever bar none!!!
one of the best versions i've seen of this song
This song rocks live! Such a unique song of theirs too!
My favorite acdc song. Love Simon Wright.
Who made me? AC/DC...
......GOD............THANK HIM!!!
I read that they did a mini-tour supporting the "Who Made Who" Maximum Overdrive soundtrack album but had never seen footage of it until now. Thanks for posting this!
there's tons of footage from this tour, you just gotta look!
I was at the Bloomington MN show .
Not even a fan of these guys, but this tune is undeniably incredible.
EVERYBODY is a fan of AC/DC
Undeniably and inarguably.
not a fan? what the fuck?!
This was absolutely badass. I grew up with this music and yet missed out on so much.⚡️❤️⚡️
I have a reoccurring dream that I'm somewhere outside and these guys come down the street playing this song on a stage being pulled behind a truck and it's epic every time! 😅😂

Seen AC/DC six times live, with both Bon and Brian. Never disappointed, so good live.
My first concert, remember they were so loud my insides were vibrating.
I keep remembering my fifteen years. what a difficult time. but this song reminds me of the joys ...
2021 still pure class thanks for sharing
I was there in Montreal in 1986 with all my friends. We took a limo to the show from Lake Placid NY. I still have my ticket stub.

Remember these days, when instruments still had cables
Wireless system have existed since the early 1980s. Steve Harris and Geezer Butler used wireless systems since 1980/1981. Angus Young too... Malcolm and Cliff used cables because didn't move around the stage, only to make the backing vocals.
Angus went to wireless in 1977.
Absolutely Fucking Awesome
Done proper! Mal looks awsome!!! Remember this tour well!! Good good shit!!
This and thunderstruck are mind blowing. I like Johnson's vocals but wish I could hear those classics with Scott's vocals. AC/DC never gets old and there will never be another like them.
I have never seen this, total killer
More 1986 and 1988 multi-cam footage please. Great work!
Brilliant job!
Another great AC/DC tune one of my favorites I like to drum to play along with Phil rudd is fun
He didn't do this one, they had Simon Wright as their drummer at this point
lyubov Sidorenko this is Simon Wright.
Seen then at the Toronto show a few months prior to this ,Loudness opened for them...Rockn roll crazy now!
This is certainly one of the best songs from the Brian Johnson era . It starts out pretty moderate like it's not gonna do much but it kicks in like crazy and you know when you see Angus you're in Swing.
Steven king would be proud!!
I wish it was 1986 again. The 80's were a decade long party!
Maximum overdrive brought me here
I´m a big Phil Rudd fan, but at this track you can hear, that Simon makes a good job for this track. It´s Simons rhythm, no other one´s. He recorded it, he plays it best live.
Stefan
Agreed, he's very solid and he's got a great rhythm live (especially for WMW)
Probably you mean Tushino, Moscow.
yeh he should have done rock or bust instead of chris slade
Nah, look up Phil's performance of it in 1996. Way better groove.
I prefer Chris Slade’s version over Simon Wrights to be honest.
Incredible song!!
This tour is when you can hear Brian's voice change, must have hurt his throat to sing like this, sounds like it hurts
You can hear it slowly turning into the Blow Up Your Video voice in this performance and then becoming the Razors Edge- Present voice after that.
Saw em in 88 in Hannover, what a fucking great day that was , 10 best mates together
If i ever had a wish it would be me going there
Good old times!!!
one of the best versions i've seen of this song

There only one Angus Young and Brian Johnson
My favorite from AC/DC!!
Geil das ist die Gnade der frühen Geburt

Badass rock and roll
.....GOT MY ANGUS fix....thk you...
Brian's voice sounds really nice here...
Is it just me or does the tempo seems a little speeded up?
1980ies video equipment had lenses made of tar and microphones made of concrete.

Perdon, ahio corrobore y es en 1988 la gira q no participa Malcolm....Y stevie lucia como el x ese entonces. Pasa q lo note muy alto aca jajaja
More crunch and natural AC/DC sound and feel than the versions on TRE tour. The latter were great too, just sort of less subtle.
Tremendo
