I was up against the guard rail in front of the bass player and I'm an 22 year old indigenous with autism and I could feel the overwhelming energy from everyone it was awesome.
I was there, and I checked off a bucket list adventure, forever grateful to be able to be a part of this moment in history, before it ended so abruptly...rtj was amazing and ratm didn't sound like they even aged a day...God bless yall

The quality was usually terrible with bad audio. The damn tape cost you like $25 bucks even back then. Now I can literally re-watch the entire concert in 4K for free on my laptop. And they signed album contracts like any other..and as soon as they fulfilled it Zack quit. He worked his ass off and had made his money at his career and was out. He didn't stay in it and keep wearing it out for a buck. And now they are doing a reunion because the fans wanted it. They sold albums..which is the goal of every musician so people hear your creation. They didn't sell out. Tom morello...yeah. He did. Sure. Prophets of Rage? Yep. Zack protected what they had done.
I couldn't agree more. I actually don't care much for the others outside of Rage (mostly because of their willingness to sell out, namely Morello). I was only thinking earlier how ZDLR leaving when he did totally saved the band from completely selling out and riding the nauseating "nu metal" wave. He's in a league of his own and his artistic integrity appears to be intact, which is a rare thing these days for acts with a global following. I'm not particularly bothered about Rage ever releasing new music, but I would really love to hear more of Zach's solo material he's been keeping close to his chest all these years. Even another One Day As a Lion release would be great.
