      Speaking of tetanus, remember folks that even though we were all taught that it comes from getting poked or cut with rusty objects that that is nonsense and that it actually lives in the soil. If you do get a cut and haven't had a tdap shot in the past 5 years, go get your booster. The nurse told me yesterday when I was getting a booster for my boy that if you do get tetanus that there is no cure for it and the symptoms, such as a tight jaw, will stay with you for a lifetime. Always play it safe. This has been a public health announcement.

    In the 70s. 80s 90s and 2000s they scraped tons of good burnt cars and trucks
    Especially holy grail cars
    Till 2010 have I seen greedy auctions sell them (insurance would scrap them)
    This is a thrash jumper and drift car
    Love all the hard work
    After a fire all the metal is thinner and wobbles not structurally sound

    I am so envious of the bond you have you have with your dad. Wish I could have one like that with mine but he passed away in 1989. This car deserves to be brought back to life, even if in the long run you decide to sell it. Cool car though.

    First thing
    The guy said this was his pride and joy and he does that in the floors 🤦‍♂️
    I’m not a fan of the rusty 💩but with this I would give it a light clean and clear coat the whole out side
    I would love to see a proper interior so nice on the inside rusty outside

    Can't believe this project !! I want to see more for sure, and I think a Comet of that era, with that unique history, may actually be worth something !! My brothers first car was a Comet, and I remember driving around listening to " The Long Run" by the Eagles, that had just come out.

    For an absolutely no-car-guy like myself this is even more interesting than a rusted old car. Because you really have to tear it down to the plane metal and remove every panel, thus I can see what's going on underneath. Certainly little issues with accessability 🤣! Great job 👍

    Windows, interior work , suspension, headlights, taillights, a new grille, & some clear coat are all this car needs to be completely roadworthy. It should be dubbed as The Crispy Critter. The engine & exhaust sound wicked as well.

    It's amazing that you have got this thing running again. My friend Brent at Halfass Kustoms just lost his shop to a fire and lost his current project and my favorite 1937 Ford ratrod truck. Maybe there is hope for her rise from the ashes after all.

    Fluid film is a great rust preventative. I use it every year or two to undercoat my 23 year old 4Runner.

    I’m from western New York and I use fluid film like it’s going out of style. Excellent product that will protect for quite a while. It’s very popular with farmers for protecting equipment too.

    You guys certainly don't back down from hard work!!! I was thinking when you were clear coating the dash, that's a neat look and with a weathered brown leather pad and matching seats, I think you got a look that works! I'm sure you have ideas, can't wait to see the future of this build

    Pretty quick little fun Car for the backroads, its Kind of Like a Ford Maverick, isnt it?
    The Power/Weight Ratio seems to fit quite Well With the 302.
    I wouldnt mind the shabby Look, would Install Lights and glass, If somewhere to be found on a Budget, Adress the Suspension, and have fun With this.
