In my own perspective the music is about: All hope is lost; the group that resisted such tyranny, have succumb to despair. The hero who have succumb to his wounds leaves his legacy to you to once again bring hope. But you have doubts, for you were once the villain; you doubt yourself from being worthy. but all the people that were once companions, friends, and coworkers of the hero believe in you, and are willing to fight together.

Just watched LOTR The Fellowship of the Ring - Extended Edition - Battle of Amon Hen while listening to this and it almost times out perfectly
