Another great video. Interesting to see how it all boils down to your mindset. Money is just money, you might not be able to control that but you can control your mindset
Yep, we can control our thoughts and overall mindset. Moreover, the constant pursuit of money beyond what is necessary can lead to working longer hours and/or delaying retirement, especially if early retirement is the goal. Thanks for the comment.
Haha, I had to look back to see what that was. You picked up on something pretty subtle, and I'm not sure why the chuckle happened, other than the fact that it is rather ridiculous what the media likes to focus on these days.🙂
Mike thanks for this happy video. I appreciate all the research aspects of this piece, the message to be happy, and also wonder what contributes to happy people becoming happier when they earn/have more money. I wonder if there is research that links your references to studies on gratitude and giving that also contributes to the increased happiness. In other words, how does increased money/financial worth, gratitude & giving impact happiness level. Sounds like a generalized linear model study :) This is a great video with lots of important messages ... thanks!
It's certainly a little different from many of the typical videos dealing with personal finance, investing, and the pursuit of financial freedom. Nice to hear you liked it. Thank you for the comment.
Hello everyone - What are your personal thoughts on the relationship between money and happiness?

That chuckle at 9:05 is pure gold! 😂

I thought the part about the messages while raising kids was very interesting!
Yes - One more example about how we should be careful about the words we choose to use around children.
