If i was Jin Yong i would rewrite the ending for Zhou Zhiruo. She deserve the happiness in her life not to forget she was a kind hearted girl naturally before her master forced her to swear and to take the swords as well as Zhang Wuji abandoned her in her wedding.
No matter how many versions of this TV series I’ve seen, I always seem to be more attracted to this character than Zhao Min. I was going to say that maybe I like selfish psychopathic women more, but Zhao Min isn’t so innocent herself, just in less evil ways.
People might not be aware she was a good person in the beginning, but due to trauma from her master forcing her to swear not to marry her lover then betraying her master against her own words (i.e. giving up everything for him), yet, feeling betrayed by him for following Zhao Min her heart was blackened (also, not to mention being bullied by her peers). Full of hate, jealousy and anger - evil was born within her - following the path of darkness instead of light. Many people in the world fall into darkness/evil due to mainly 5 things - men, women, wealth, power and/or pride. Yan wui been, yuet wui yuen! Good become evil, evil become good! At the end she does turn back to good if I remember correctly by becoming a nun? Too much pain within her due to post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) - something very common in loving relationships when break ups occur (and/or being emotionally abused - bullying..etc..). Zhao Min is the opposite! She was a narcissist or sociopath (very cruel, no empathy, chopping people's fingers..etc..), being spoilt brat, but after time with the guy and seeing many painful events such as the death of her father..etc..she became a good person. Oh, also, learning from the ying martial arts (claw technique thing - gal yum jun ging) will make her more evil or dark. Ruthless and cruel techniques - affecting the mind/soul/spirit too. This is why the heroes from the previous series who learned it hardly uses it cause it's too cruel/ruthless - the more you use/practice it the more it can make you become as one of such. Not just in martial arts, but anything in life.
