Resetting the ps4 controller worked to get rid of a constant static sound I was hearing in my headphones when it was connected to the controller via the headphone jack! Thanks a bunch!
AntiCuber you maybe have dust in ur headphone jack area, or the plug in of the headset is damaged, or the ear ups are damaged, or controller is damaged, or you have a settings wrong.
Fixed it with the reset ! I had the issue of static coming out on everybody elses end. I notice it usually happens after dropping my remote with headset plugged in . Thanks !!
My mic had audio cutting out and I just got this mic so I knew I didn’t break it and I reset my controller and it instantly worked thank you very much for the tip 🤝
It’s Bluetooth signal electrical interference with your DualShock(jacked in headpnes) or Bluetooth headphones. If you charge your phone/electric devise/controller via PS4 USB port unplug that cable, or any other cable when you done charging, especially IPhones ones and don’t place your phone close to the controller if headphones jacked in. Just in case Rebuild your Database ( switch off your PS4, Hold down power button until your hear a beep and release power button, from there you will see Rebuild Database) also some times it’s just helps to restart your game. Good luck. 😉
I can hear everything fine, but my mic has been fine for months, but all of a sudden it now randomly mutes me and i have to twist the piece fhat goes in the controller around for it to work. And randomly it crackles and stuff for other people.
I bought an actual PS4 headset no crackling are buzzing but my headset does cut out and when it does the game lags and my character drifts. What's that about. Anyone else have that problem?
I haven't tried resetting my controller yet but I also get this buzzing even when I'm using the tv speakers. The buzz only happens when in party chat when other players speak. If they turn of their Mic it goes away. I thought it might be them but I've tested this with all my friends and it's the same thing. I also use a surge protector as well so it should be grounded.
I’m having a problem with mines, So when I turn the volume all the way up on them it gets lower for some reason. Also at first I never had background noise coming through them and now I have that do you know a way to fix that ?
I know how to solve the problem with usb headphones like arctis pro plus dac. It was driving me crazy. So here is the simple solution. You need to ground your PS. Pull off the cover. Then slightly unscrew one of the screws connected to the housing. Wrap a copper wire around the screw and tighten it. Close the housing and run the copper wire to the screw that holds your out let plate. The screw should be between both outlets. Slightly unscrew that and wrap the wire around it and screw it back down. That’s it. Easy and takes about 2-4 minutes max.
I just reset the controller and then reconnected it and I can finally listen to Spotify without hearing a static sound and without my music being cut off and not play correctly 🙏
What’s the best solution for getting rid of like wind noise from your headset on PS4? Every time do a stream and it records on twitch. I watch the stream recording after I finished and there’s always a wind kind of noise that is constant through out.

Try. Hold down the right square on the back of the strike pack and TAP the left bumper to lower the volume and the right bumper to turn up the volume.
