Make sure when you are drilling or screwing into the door MAKE SURE YOU DONT SCREW INTO THE GLASS. The glass does sit just inside the frame, so make sure your placing the lock far enough back so that you dont shatter the glass once the drill of screw goes into it.
@@chris usually we keep it jammed in there. I've heard some crazy stories about bad people just walking into someone's house through the sliding door left unlocked.
Easy for a double door, especially one where one of the doors is stationery. Does not look feasible for triple sliding doors which all slide into an outside "pocket".
Great question! I've honestly never tried. So, off I went to the door to test it out. I was able to lift up the handle side no problem to create a bit of a gap at the top. However, on the lock side I was unable to lift it up at all--not even a little bit. So, I suppose it depends on the door but in my case I don't see how it's possible.

million dollar slow mo at the end
Teddy for the win! Thanks for watching 😊
Excellent work!!!
Well I was honestly hoping for a doggie door review. I love Dogs.
We do too! We have two. This dog door is old so maybe I’ll research a new one to review.
Great video thank you!
There’s an ant hanging out at 2:51 … bet I’m the only who noticed
This video is GREAT.
Beautiful video I appreciate you
Thank you so much
I think it should be installed at the top so that the sliding door cannot be lifted from the track?
You can install it at the top or bottom, and (at least with my sliding door) there's no way to lift it.
I use a 3 ft piece of PVC pipe and wedge it in between the sliding door and the door jam
It cost me 2 dollars I think
We used to use wooden dowels in the same way. However, for a door we open numerous times per day that didn't really work out!

Chris how come you haven't updated in a long time🤔 looking forward to your new videos!
I'm still here! Just been busy with other projects but I'll be uploading more soon :) Thank you for hanging in there!!

If your rocking triple sliding doors, you probably have 3 inch steel gates with 15 ft walls. You don't need this product
I was trying to install it on the top and the screws were too long that will block the door, any ideas?
Buy smaller screws
Will this keep the sliding door from being jimmied/lifted? Tired of leaning down to remove the dowel from the track.

Does the door mount screws interfere with the height adjustment mrchanism inside that area?
No, they're so low that the only thing down there are the rollers, and the screws don't stick out that far.
Can you get it at home depot
No, just Amazon
MOTORZ!!!!!!
