These two guys are my favorites on this show.
That gem should be in a museum. Hope it gets there some day.
it's on display at an opal shop in lightning ridge, the latest buyer paid $160,000 and is showcasing it for all who visit lightning ridge
I remember when Sam first joined Pete. He has come a long way in the right direction.
This is a pure gold rush clone, and I'm loving it 😍
Absolutely stoked for these guys
This is already from a couple of years ago. Hope these 2 great guys are doing just as well now!
Aussie Gold And Opal Hunters channel is like when i was 5 and rewatched the same videos over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and...

Stunning opal!
Young guys come along way
This episode is older than dirt
Respect, now I dont need to waste 8 minutes ❤
Wow, I can't believe in today's world we still get that few that can't say anything positive. Who cares how old, it was my first time seeing it. It was still a stunner
@cynthacrawley4182 I've seen all of them, I posted a positive comment when it was aired originally. So keep your "negative" comment to yourself.
@@drkempo wow, how rude
Glad I came here first. Was like, dang I've seen this.
Sweet KUDOS congratulations ❤❤❤

Fabulous opal well done guys 👌👌
So it sold for $160 thousand eventually
About time you two Guys got some luck 🤟
well done guys, gratz 2u
That lady ripped them off on camera 😂
Why not sift it as you're putting it in the trucks? Just means building the frame so the trucks can park under it.
Where can I find the new episodes
Magnificent
Why can’t you add a idler gear sprocket to that?
Old footage... this episode is 2-3yrs old at least....
Install a tensioner and lengthen the chain. Makes the process much quicker then installing or reinstalling the chain. Not to mention you can re tension the chain so it doesn't slept off in the future
*So it doesn't slip off
"But then you wouldn't have the drama of equipment breaking down", screams the producer.
My favorite part is Sprockets
Did they buy new equipment with that 120 k??
Lad l love ye but PLEASE stop re-releasing vids we already seen!
What I don't understand is why the miners don't learn to cut. If they do the cutting in the off-season and sell direct to the end customer, they cut out the buyer and the cutterand the retailer and very likely double or triple their income.
They need fast profit to pay for diesel, leases and machinery.
@@fightfiend Fair enough, but it traps them in a cycle of low returns - most of them seem to live hand-to-mouth and never achieve the financial independence that would justify such brutal working conditions.
There's a documentary somewhere on RUclips about a family of miners who do their own cutting and retail direct to end users. They were pretty prosperous compared to most, so it can definitely be done.
...would it be possible to use some sort of radar or sonic waves and sweep the area looking for anomalies ? (just guessing )
No. The layers are known, seams are followed.
Wouldn't work. All it would show is rocks
Work at Night with Blue Lights everywhere
Might want to a have a maintenance day and clean all the grease off the chains and sprockets.
Permata yang berharga❤
nice!
So what you just glued them together?
Umm...
Soooo old
Yeah...
Shannon Barrett is the best opal miner in Lightning ridge you just ask his father Bob.
Big sprocket first how many push-bike chains did you ever do that way ,none just making life hard!
clean the foookin chain ymate
already seen this several times why do you keep reposting it like its something new?
Because they have nothing new.
@@michaeljones3974 well they need to make some new stuff I need something worth watching
70k profit for bit of carve an polish from 50k offer
Its Old 😉
🎉❤🎉❤
This didn't happen 12 days ago. Wake up. People want new stuff.
You won’t get 39 tons in a mixer
So old click bait
Why are you showing this aqain. We all know it did not happen three weeks ago. Are you showing someone else's hard work? If you are please report your own stories.
It later sold at auction for 1.8M USD
no it didn't
The values on gems like this are always inflated. While gold has a market value, opals and other gems are only worth what a buyer is willing to pay. Why don’t you start talking about money after the stones have been sold and stop putting phony values on them. It’s getting old.
I like these blokes, however, try and be original as this is old hat.
Fake show. Such a shame to lazy Auzis to bring up the Opal price bubble by unreal shows like this.
