As far as I am aware: - Speed - Possible height of the printed object (i.e. z direction of print volume) - Mechanically simpler than bedslingers and in particular CoreXY printers, thus they hopefully need less maintenance - Less of "preferred directions" in the x-y plane; it is debated whether this might reduce some artifacts that occur with bedslingers and CoreXY printers - Depending on the printed object: the x-y projection of the print volume is circular instead of rectangular. This can both be an advantage and a disadvantage
They certainly got an honest review. Cute doggos btw
Keep letting it spew filament all over the glass and eventually it'll make some fine art you can sell
What is the benefit of the delta configuration? Speed?
I think so, yeah
@@Patrick_GibneyThanks for the reply! I'm glad you've got this fascinating printer for free!
Perks of the job!
It'll definitely get a lot of use - I'll be sure to update if my opinions change in the future

If you decide you don't want to keep it. I'd love to take it off your hands.
P.S. I don't have any neighbors.
Neat, a printer that can print sideways
