The shelves look great. The black is a nice touch. I'm glad that you took the time to paint the walls and ceiling! It will make a big difference in the end. It looks like the two of you work together well. Off to watch part 2!

Thanks, it really did make a big difference and it was easier than painting inside!

@@AngelaMarieMade I forgot to mention that your renting the truck to temporarily store the garage stuff was a great choice. It's the first time I've seen someone do that and I thought it was very smart. I even mentioned it to my sister today.

Love, love, LOVE these shelves! The color contrast between the black and the plywood shelves just looks amazing!

Hahaha. “I love ceilings.” I painted my first ever ceiling recently and like Brandon, “I love ceilings.” LOL.

Did you have to let the 2x4s sit out for a couple days/weeks before using them or did you use them right away?

They look great. Have you considered connecting them to the wall to avoid racking?

She said near the end that she wants to secure it to the wall but needs to figure out a good method first because there is a concrete ledge so she can’t push it flush to the wall as is.

Thanks, I ended up using some framing lumber joined together to attach to our wall studs!

Could have also trimmed the back legs down to sit on top of the ledge then secured to the wall
