Excellent video, as always. Nice to see family after such a long period of lockdown. Grandma seems like a real trooper when it comes to flying. Piper is really getting adjusted to riding in the left seat. Nice Memorial Day gift for those of us who spent time in the air during our service.
Great Video ... Wow, Piper I think you have been practicing since the last video, your radio work is so professional and your landings are great too! Well done!
Beautiful country out there. I'm glad yall had a good flight. I'm waiting for June 17th for being eligible to fly again. Unbeknownst to me, the medication I was on was not FAA approved. Long story short, June 17th will be my 6 month mark to be eligible to apply again. I need to be in the air. I'm living vicariously through other people's videos like yours.
Another masterpiece guys, thanks for taking us with yuh. Piper you looked lovely and 1capcarL wasn't too shabby either 😉👍 I love hearing all the high pitched sounds and the comms and the tower ,feels like I m right there. You guys are special people,GB
The new video truly made my day! Thank you so much! Piper you are stunning and Capt. Carl is the most interesting person I've ever met (so to speak). Please keep the videos coming. Mike
Thanks Jive. Saved us a lot of time and we were not worn out when we arrived at our destinations. We had good support at BNG and SAN with family members providing ground transportation.
well done Piper! your video was just the tonic today. I am doing my instrument rating and omg is it ever hard work. Im waiting for the aha moment everyone promises will come.
Funny thing I am afraid of heights..but not of flying .. just hate getting thru airports. 😂 Very long story short..I am from Kentucky , my husband is Bavarian. So we met on fb in 2010 ..I never flown in a large plane before .. and so I made it to Germamy... Saw his smiling face when I got there ...and we married in 2012. Still so in love.
Always enjoy when you guys post a video! Agree completely with the plane vs. car comparison. Question, what is the procedure for requesting a call sign? Does a call sign “stay” with the pilot vs. a tail number which stays with the aircraft?
Good question Peter ! Flightplan.com offers the call sign for a fee and it stays with the plane. Part of a program that offers more privacy and keeps you from being tracked by anyone.....Piper
Always enjoy watching you and your dad’s adventures. Have you gotten your PPL yet? Instrument soon? Dave, 40 year airline pilot, retired 4.5 years ago. Flying now my 1947 v tail bonanza…
@@1capcarl Get going girl! Times a wasting! I hope you want to be an airline pilot like your dad, Piper. The sooner you get a seniority number at a major, the better. I got mine at 25.5 years old. Earliest hired can be a game changer on a career. Ps. Your dad is funny at his standup comedy 👍🏻
As usual, enjoyable video from you guys. Sure looks like it was a nice trip. I had to chuckle on the "tired after the party", maybe your callsign should be Icarus? Looking forward to next video!
Boy, Piper could probably end up at a major in a couple of years if she wanted to go gangbusters. At the very least, at a regional. I actually know a guy who started at Southwest when they were a regional, when he was 23, and according to the rumor mill, we had a class with a 23 year old recently.
Cap Carl, Are you an active CFI? I’m a NorCal pilot and want a CFI to fly with me to Catalina Island for my first trip out there. Would you be interested?
@@1capcarl thank you too✋⚘ I think you are one of the best pilot for Cessna type aircraft specialy Cessna182 .usually you have a butter landing and it's cool ! Always have safe flight in blue sky💙

Piper have you got more ratings? I’m glad you are enjoying your day and family members and what the way to do it is in the Turbo 210 in which I’ve got my high performance Aircraft hours in one

Another charming video Piper and Capt. Carl! Nice comparison of driving vs flying, especially in stop and go traffic.
Glad you liked it Alex !.....Piper

Memorial Day is a special day to say thank to the men and women who are serving and the ones who have served
Very true. I celebrated today with my airline coworkers who worked with me to do all of the military charters under the CRAF program.
Nothing we can't handle.....love it....heard it so many times.
Thanks for listening
Nice traditional pilot outfit..It does look great.
Thank you!
Good job! You guys always get the weather!
Aiden, Not ALL of the time but yes a lot of the time ! .....Piper
Having to drive from San Diego to Banning to Camarillo would be a horrible Drive. Flying makes total sense if you can.
