Charlie went back to his hometown in 1996 and gave the commencement speech at UNC Willington. Some people were concerned about him giving the speech being he had no degree. However, he had International notoriety, millions of dollars, and was a successful businessman when the times were tough. He had one wife for life. This guy worked hard. He came up in the days you had to get beer bottles thrown at you at beer joints, just like in The Blues Brothers yet with no chicken wire, to make a living. I'd give my college degrees up for his life wisdom.

Reflections is a tribute to some of the great musicians we lost in the 50s thru the 70s. From Buddy Holley to Lynyrd Skynyrd. Charlie was very close friends with LS singer Ronnie Van Zant. The original recording of Uneasy Rider is also a classic. Totally hilarious. I'm hoping to see reactions from you on these. I wouldn't waste your time.
