I love your use of the registers...when the front 8' of the upper manual takes the melody in measure 4 it has an ethereal and magical sound that contrasts beautifully with the buff stop. Very nice choice!

Thank you for listening and commenting. Actually, the first time I heard this piece it was played by Igor Kipnis and that was how he registered it. It's forever in my mind that way and so I registered it similarly.

Que lindo te sale! Me encanta que hayas usado la "buff stop" en las secciones recurrentes, le da un toque mas misterioso y hace mas fresca la melodia..

I love this! It made me discover this composer. A tip to make the audience engage more - make the music sheet link-click-ready available. Monetize it for your sakes, maybe? Few of us are actually gonna practice it but, alllll of us are gonna download it. Bottom line, I loved this video and, honestly, thank you!

Hi, thanks for listening. I'm glad you like the piece.
Actually, I'm just a simple music lover sharing his experience learning pieces and discovering old music. So, I'll never monetise my channel. As to the sheet music, virtually everything I upload is available for free on IMSLP.org.

It's one of my favourites. I've always liked this piece. I heard for the first time when I was a teenager (long ago).

It was presumed the source for Michael Nymans 'An Eye for an optical theory'

Hi, thanks for listening and commenting. I've heard that; in fact, it's featured in the film "The Draughtsman's Contract".
