FPS (frames per stop) kinda bounces around. We typically range between 2.5k and 3.5k on average. For those that don't know. Pinsetter performance is usually measured as frames per stop. Brunswick Recreation centers measured in games per stop. It's almost the same difference. FPS formula is the number of games bowled within a specific period, usually weekly. Multiplied by 11 to convert games to frames. Then, it is divided by the number of pinsetter stops for that given period.

Is it a must to have the rail Guards or are they there to make the balls do less sound while being dropped into accelerator?
The rail covers protect against ball damage. The rails have some sharp sections where the bolts anchor the rails to the base plate.
