Thanks for the suggestion. I have swapped a few of these out over the years. It's pretty rare, though. This one has been holding steady for 65 years. All it needed was that bent plate straightened. Lol! Should be good to go for another 40 years now. The new Guardian-type 2-pole contactors have a higher failure rate. Plus, I had 5 other machines on the out-of-service list for these folks. I didn't want to spend hours rewiring this box if I could make this repair in about 15 minutes. This seemed like a more effective way to go given the situation.

Those Federal Pacifics are beasts! 3/4 of my lanes still have them. Whenever one dies, I strip it down and save whatever parts are salvageable.
Just change it over to the new style contactor.
