    If u watch closely, half the time the vacuum is not sucking at full potential bc your swinging it...just get the bulk first then get the rest at the end

    Awesome set up, we run something similar but smaller loader, f550. That loader is impressive will last forever. You need it behind a f750 or so..

    Truck driver should keep the nozzle centered on the pile at perpendicular extension. No point in shifting half of the pile to the vacuum by hand. Maybe install a baby monitor or wireless backup camera to the support boom for the driver?

    • @landscapesolutions3709
      @landscapesolutions3709  4 года назад

      Truck driver does not control the leaf suction pipe. The operator handling the suction has control up and down and side to side. Leaf pile is approximately 100' x 12'.
      Leaf vac is odb lct 650. Educate yourself before commenting.

      @@landscapesolutions3709 Talking about the direction perpendicular to the road. The boom has a fixed length, that's why the operator can't get at the far end of the pile. Just offering my ideas, thanks for the upload anyways.

  • @LandscapeMinocqua

    How many homes can you service before dumping? Have you previously used a smaller leaf vac billy goat or little wonder rig prior to this one?

    • @landscapesolutions3709
      @landscapesolutions3709  5 лет назад

      We can normally get one large job similar to the one in the video per box. Three smaller jobs. I've never tried a Billy Goat or little wonder. The smallest unit we use is a single wheel 65hp Giant Vac.
      Thanks

    What hasn't been remarked on is the fact that the machine isn't even running at full capacity. The rpms are low.

      Matthew Behne g'day mate. Im going to guess that vacuum on the back is Diesel powered and running @1500rpm which is why is sounds quiet I mean you can hear more of the leaves being sucked up.
      Hope this answers your query.

    You sure you have a big enough vacuum? Is that the nuclear powered model ?

    Have you used this setup to vacuum grass clippings? I have seen huge piles of grass clippings left after mowing soccer fields. Have you heard of complaints of people leaving piles of grass clippings in their yard?

    • @landscapesolutions3709
      @landscapesolutions3709  6 лет назад

      We've never used the machine to remove grass clippings however it will suck up most anything put in front of it.

    How much does a setup like this cost? Or something similar? I've been working on startin and landscaping business and haven't been able to find the cost on a trailer/setup like this.

      I was fortunate and able to buy both of my vacuums at a municipal auction. You may be able to locate one on Craigslist or by checking auctions. I've seen units in the $3,500.00 to $8,000.00 range.

    Man that was a lot leafs. After a leaf job of that size do you have to go dump or do you still have room for more yards? You guys did a good job keep up the good work. I'm Eric with mobile-1 Lawn Service LLC

      Thanks for the feedback Eric. Loads this size pretty much fill the box to capicity. It's not very often that we completely full the box on one job.

      You're right. After they finish the leaf removal they should go sit in the truck and just watch.
      Better yet we should take your advise and put them in an enclosed trailer then blow them out.

      Landscape Solutions is just my opinion. Remember. We have tarps to used you can not carry leaves or branches uncovered on the road safety first , but yeah i am thinking. About labor. But you may charge lots of money for that job so that way it is worth
