Hi Brooke! Don’t apologize, medical things can be very scary and you’re not alone! Im 27 and have had a few abnormal lumps in my breasts too. Ended up having to get one removed for biopsy and came back benign - what I’m trying to say is that these things are common in women and this community has your back and we will be praying for you! 💛 you’re not alone in this journey 😊

I've been watching your vlogs for a few years now, and have been so impressed with your growth as a woman in this crazy world. I'm old enough to be your mom (so I'm going to sound like one now), and I just want to give you a big hug. No need to give you medical advice. That's what the medical professionals are for. Lean on your mom when you have those moments of doubt. She will ALWAYS have your back. Just know you are strong, and those who watch your vlogs appreciate and support you. ❤

I had a similar heath scare two months ago. You feel like your whole world stops. The waiting is absolutely terrible. Surround yourself with people you love and try to keep busy to help pass the time. Answers will come! Praying for peace of mind and a calmness while you wait, and that whatever it is they found clears up and isn’t serious! 💜💜💜

The doctors giving you time to see if it goes down may be a good sign, because they probably don't think it's malignant. My mom had lymphoma and they caught it early, but she declined really quickly despite them fast-tracking all her biopsies and scans. If doctors are willing to wait things out with you, I would try to stay positive even though it's hard and stressful

Hi Brooke, it's a natural reaction to be emotional when you hear anything negative especially when it's our health. A good cry and reflection always makes you feel better afterwards. Praying and thinking of you while you work through this problem. I'm sure all will be okay, just think positive thoughts and tell yourself that its all going to be okay and it will just be a glitch and nothings wrong. Sending Love, positive vibes and light. We here for you and love you loads. Sending a big hug for comfort all the way from South Africa.

Oh friend!! I know this feeling ohh so well. I found 2 lumps in my breast a few years ago and had them scanned every few months for several years and now yearly. Let me tell you being a nurse I definitely spiraled so it’s okay to spiral, to cry and be upset and worried. This is all so normal. These are common but it’s SO great you have an amazing provider who wants to dot all the i’s and cross all the t’s cause some women so often are left unheard by their providers. Round of applause for taking control of your health and for having a great healthcare team! Positive thoughts and prayers your way! ❤️

I’m a nurse and whenever we give vaccines we document which extremity the vaccine was given in. If it would alleviate some stress until your next scan you could call the place where you got the vaccine and ask them to look in your chart to see which arm was documented.

So proud of you for sharing Brooke, you are absolutely not alone. I was 21 and found a lump in my breast (luckily I was fine and it was able to get removed) but it’s absolutely a scary moment and something we need to talk about more because it actually is so common. Especially as young women, we don’t think we’ll be affected or we’ll be immune, but it’s so so important to keep your health top of mind. And you’re so brave to bear your heart and tell us what’s happening. Thinking of you and letting you know we’re all here for you ❤ thank you for talking so openly about it.

Hi Brooke ❤️ it’s okay to be scared and uncomfortable with what is going on! I had a similar situation where I did mammogram and they found an enlarged lump on my right breast. They gave me an option where I can either wait 2 months and get another scan or get scheduled for a biopsy. I ended up getting a biopsy due to my anxious mind and it came back negative. Just remember that a lot of factors can play into your lymph nodes getting enlarged and it’s not always cancer.
You’re strong and you got this ❤🎉

Brooke, do not apologize and being so open and transparent is incredibly strong of you. To keep it short, at age 27 I found out I have the BRCA2 genetic mutation which WILDLY increases your chances of breast cancer, so I had a preventative double mastectomy. BUT, before I had surgery I had three spots come up on a mammogram so I had to get an MRI guided biopsy on all three spots. It was terrifying, so I understand how you feel. Everything was FINE! 🎉
My best advice is, don’t put too much energy and attention to anything until you know more. And you are exactly right, finding out you had the spot and getting it checked NOW is the BEST thing you can do.
Bravo to you for listening to your doctor and taking the initiative to get checked out. Will be praying for you! 🫶🏻💗

Hey Brooke, thanks for sharing this for your viewers! Just turned 30 but when I was your age I had a swollen cyst on my breast that I convinced myself was cancerous, only for my doctor to tell me it was nothing serious. But that fear is (unfortunately) part of womanhood and I think your transparency about that, and your encouragement to others to get checked their breasts checked, is a really admirable given your platform. Everything will be okay and it's normal to be emotional about the unknown. I have been part of a high risk breast health clinic for the past 12 years because of dense breast tissue. I go for twice yearly screenings and try to remind myself that these are part of my self-care and although anxiety provoking, are necessary. Even though your anxiety wants you to google things trust your intuition that it is not what you need. You have a great support network of people in your life and they will be there when you need, as much as you need.

Manifest that you’re fine and it’s not cancer.
I found a lump and had a gut feeling it was cancer. I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer at 27. From the start of it all, I began manifesting things like “I won’t have to do radiation,” “I’m going to get this over with and never have to deal with cancer again,” “I’m going to have a complete response to the chemotherapy.” Sooo many other things as well. I’m 28 now and had a complete response to chemotherapy, I’ve had 1 of 2 surgeries so far, heard the words “you’re cured,” I don’t have to do radiation, and I’m continuing to manifest that I will never have to deal with cancer ever again.
There’s so much power in positive thinking and manifesting.
    You’re doing amazing, you’re strong, you’re beautiful, and you’re happy and healthy💗

Hello. I’m quite a lot older than you and had my first mammogram and the nurse called with my results to tell me that there were some concerns related to the mammogram results on each breast and needed a sonogram. For five weeks I stressed and cried and didn’t sleep very much. However it turned out to be alright. Please stay positive and either way you’re doing the right things to attend to your health. Inconclusive results seem to be kind of normal when you have your first breast exams while the drs are trying to understand your breast structure. I pray for your peace and great results !!!

Brooke! I had the same exact thing happen with my boobs. I am a bigger chested girlie too and my gynecologist had me get an ultrasound of my boobs because I also have dense breast tissue. They found a lump in my boob and it was TERRIFYING. I was so so so scared. They made me wait about two months and I went back for a second ultrasound and it was still there so they biopsied it and it was literally just fatty breast tissue. I then went off of my oral daily birth control and got an IUD and it went away! I know it is so sobering to be confronted with the possibility of something drastic being wrong, but I promise it will all workout. It will all be okay! I am so grateful that you shared this, I know it is so hard to talk about and it is harder to think about, but you are so strong for doing it. I am so proud of you! You're being so proactive by getting ultrasounds and seeking medical attention and that is the best thing that you could be doing. Love you!

I love seeing your mom in these vlogs❤
I think it’s easy to say “Don’t worry” but the truth is that your fear is absolutely valid. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 and now “cured” or “no evidence of disease”. I’m hoping you are just dealing with some lymph node residual, swelling from the flu shot. Hoping all the best for you! XOXO

Hi Brooke! I just want to say that I really feel for you because health things can be SO scary. I had a similar thing happen- it ended up being from a recent vaccine, but the waiting and anxiety is so real. Hang in there ❤❤❤

Hi Brooke! I went thru the same thing last year and these emotions are so normal!! If gives you any peace at all, my ultrasound tech told me that if my doctor thought it was really serious, then they wouldn’t have waited to observe it (they would’ve done a biopsy immediately!). Waiting is the worst part though and it can be very scary, but just trust everything will be okay. Being proactive about your health is the best thing you can do, so you are definitely doing the right thing. Thinking of you and hope you don’t stress too too much ❤

Hello Brooke, I'm going through something similar. I went for my first gynaecologist visit. And they found something... I'm waiting for the results of my biopsy. And this is really scarry. So, it's totally normal to feel emotional. I'm sure it will be nothing, take care! I send you all my support. Thanks for sharing❤

hey Brooke! i used to have a lump under my armpit when i was like 15 its really common. For me it was caused because i shave, they usually have to remove it like cut that part out. I never got it cut out because over a couple of months it just goes away. You should be fine! dont worry!

Sending you all the good vibes!! Hoping everything turns out ok. Medical scares are never easy esp when you have to wait. Tomorrow, Tomorrow and Tomorrow is a great book. If you want a immersive emotional book but with also light moments, i'd recommend Between Hello and Goodbye by Emma Scott. Its amazing.
