me and ma cat listented to ya music and now we are princes of persia :D
I was shown Shokran about 3 years ago when my friend said "Kate, this is literally everything you have tried to write in the past 10 years!"
RUclips Alogorithm introduced you to me, maybe because i searched for things like egyptian/oriental/arabic metal in the last weeks.
Both versions, instrumental and with vocals, are absolutely beautiful
:P I like his screams better than his cleans. He just isn't strong enough for how good the instrumentals are.
I think it would be better if they had more clean vocals, as Monuments do for example. Or Tesseract
Monuments fucking sucks compared to this, and on the other hand, I don't think just clean vocals would do great with such ammount of darkness in this particular album
Instrumental lets you hear the pure essence of this miraculous sounds. I recommend listening to tracks with vocals after absorbing instrumentals

The best part about this album is the fact that even without vocals there is almost no repetition so its never boring. Most songs if you take out the singer it gets pretty boring.

I prefer the instrumentals most of the time, and really wasn't a huge fan of the singing on Supreme Truth. The vocals are tons better on this though.

I discovered this looking for some instrumental metal songs to sample. Loath and behold, I found something to actually listen to casually. I feel like their shit tells a story in a way. No need for words.
I enjoy both versions in a different way. Revival of darkness and Firstborn are more agressive in the instrumental. The vocals from Creatures from the mud are so badass.
My cousin’s friend showed them to me and I loved the djenty style without vocals

Мне очень понравился этот альбом и именно в инструментальной версии он очень гармоничен, музыка просто потрясающая, диссанансы мягкие и в тему, не выбешивают, как у многих других. Я рекомендовал бы выпускать сразу по две версии альбомов, инструментал и с вокалом. Я не скажу, что мне не нравиться ваш вокалист, нет к нему у меня претензий нет, но не всегда можно без утомления слушать такую насыщенную музыку с вокалом. Поэтому если вам не трудно выложите все записи ещё и без вокала, очень благодарен за ваше творчество. Творите и развивайтесь, ребята вы молодцы, музыка ваша высокого качества и уровня, я хотел бы вас слушать и дальше.
Andrew vocals are far more important to shokran than I believed... all the songs have one of the best music and melodies and beats I've ever heard... they are masterpieces. But when Andrew sings with these masterpieces... oh gawd...

I like both instrumental and original,their first album didn't have great vocals but I agree Andrew is a nice addition to their songs in exodus

I dont think youll see this, but you guys are my favorite band. Ive been really picky with my music but this is the first album in my life that im addicted to every song lol. Your music isnt just music, its an artistic experience. THe range of instruments and voices is like no other, please dont change lol. Your style is worth a lot more than you might realize but hopefully thats not the case!

It's crazy how both instrumentals and "full" version with vocals are masterpieces on their own but not in the same way. Composing something that works awesome on it's own AND with vocals on it must be such a complicated process. Thx for sharing both guys !

I'm definitely a fan of the instrumental version. I feel that the vocals don't let me enjoy the melody to its fullest. There's a lot of it in here, which deserves my full attention.

I think albums like this and for example Monuments The Amanuensis don't really benefit from vocals. I have nothing but respect for both vocalists, but the arrangement just gets really crowded and I'm also not a fan of the super high/falsetto vocals often used by prog vocalists. Like, I get it you have amazing range, but similar to a guitarist not shredding for 50 minutes straight or the drummer playing complex fills all the time, sometimes less is more.
