So, since so many people seem to be poking fun at the "Interview Style" I opted to shoot these in, let me just say this: It's a creative decision. But also my wife is sitting across from me. I wanted this to feel like I was telling someone a story, so I sat my wife down in front of me and I spoke to her. Watch any documentary series and you'll likely see them shot just like this. That's the feel I was going for. Sometimes I try to be artistic. I know RUclips has created this whole new world where people flip on their cell phones and talk to them. Sometimes I like to stretch my creative legs and try new things. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. But I still like to try. Thanks for watching! :-)

Pixel Dan I really enjoyed this fun new style! Caught me a bit by surprise but it accomplished what you wanted - I felt like an old friend was telling me a story from their toy-collecting childhood! Keep trying new things Dan, it’s never a bad idea to try and spice things up!

Lol! Great story Dan, and Merry Christmas! My brother is 2 years younger, and same deal: shared TMNT collection. What always bothered me a little was that I never had a complete team of turtles. I always got Leo and Donnie, and my brother always got Raph and Mikey. Even all the weird versions it was always split, which in retrospect was a great move on my parents’ part.
Haha! Awesome! We had to share all the playsets and vehicles too, but it totally worked out just fine. :-)
I feel like some people are totally misunderstanding or taking my lighthearted story of me as a kid at christmas the wrong way. So, uh, thanks for those nasty comments I just deleted. Merry Christmas.

i lost this somewhere when i was a kid. I was happy that they released the robot body version a few years later.
My brother and I each had “our own collections” growing up. Of course early early on we never paid for any of it. But frequently we would haggle and trade from each other’s collections if we had a figure the other one wanted. By the end it was hard to keep straight who actually owned what. From TMNT, to Star Trek, and Kenner Batman to Beast Wars, it was all fair game for bargaining.

This year for Christmas I got the 4 Tmnt ghostbusters because I love both franchise so this is one of my favorite Christmas’s ever
OMG!!! I literally just purchased this exact version of Krang as a Christmas present to myself. But I did get him when I was a kid and now my turtle figure line is almost complete with just three more to go. Slow and steady wins the collecting race. Merry Christmas everyone!!!! Keep up the great vids Dan and I look forward to more in 2018!

The very first TMNT figure I opened up on my first Christmas with Turtles ('89) was Krang himself! I was stoked. He was the only villain I had for what seemed like the longest time!

Merry Christmas!! I still have my bubble walker Krang on my nightstand. I have two younger sisters so no sharing for me thank goodness but I also had to rely on shady friends to play,with who were always looking to swipe or trade for the good stuff.....

Great story! I remember one year, I asked for a remote control airplane, and my parents gave me an IOU. lol... still never got it. I'm not complaining though, my parents always came through with either Star Wars, TMNT, GI Joes, video games or whatever else I was into at the time.

I know one year I got from My grandma It is still a special place I have a few things I remember since she is Deceased now since 2010.I got the TMNT Pizza thrower from her one year. My mom & Her were in the store & She Picked it out. & I still have a couple others too.I have the TMNT Pizza thrower from My grandma a Book on the battleship Bismarck. I have a Stuff monkey from early childhood. & Transformers Pretenders Skullgrin & Cloudburst..Those are the Items I still have from My Grandma That I got .Pizza thrower was the Biggest.Was So excited to get it When the 2015 one came out I knew I had to get it & funny I think was not in the show.
I felt the same way one year because I was HUGE into MOTU. My sister got two She-ra characters (Frosta and Angella)...and I was defiantly like...wait a minute. She doesn't care about MOTU at all...obviously those are supposed to be mine. lol. It messed with my young self for quite a while!

The 'interview style' needs panning and rotation to avoid it being too static.. :) But i like the 'speaking to the audience' style better. :)

Who (not asking for names/handles) the Hobbes would slam you for that? I’ve been there more than once with my bro. Fam wasn’t rich- all pulled together (Mom, grands, aunts, uncles). I was 3, near 4. We got He-Man, Skeletor, Beastman, Merman, Tri-Clops, TrapJ, Screech, Zoar, Man/Arms, Stratos, Teela, Ram Man, Zodac, Grayskull, Talon Fighter, Attack-Trak, Windraider, the Cats, BattleRam all in ONE megaburst Christmas (all released by then). So if people are talking trash about you, they can harass me too!
