BTS were constantly asked about their dating status. So they playfully said they'd bring each other as dates during the Grammys.
Most K-pop idols stay single especially when they’re at the peak of their careers. With BTS being the biggest boyband in recent history, it’s easy to see why the boys have not publicly dated anyone for years. However, it seems like Hobi is ready to change that.
The fateful day happened back in 2020. Per usual, Hobi celebrated his birthday with ARMY through a livestream. After blowing his birthday candles, Hobi shared his wish from last year. He then talked about his goal for 2020. Unlike the year before when his wish was for everyone else, this time, it was something more personal.
Although Hobi's goal seemed to head toward wanting a special relationship with someone, he quickly changed the context in the last part of the message. The other translation read: “The other way around, I want to treasure you all.” Hobi changed the singular into a plural by shifting the word “someone” to “all of you,” meaning the fans.
Hobi may be worried that he will hurt ARMY for longing to have a special someone, so he changes up his words. But ARMY wanted nothing but happiness forHobi, so they assured him that he had their blessings.
Hobi has not mentioned anything close to that topic since that day. But we all know that Hobi is all about spreading love and positivity.
