This dude doesn't age.
I really hope he gets back into a respectable winning streak.
Huerta vs Guida is still my favorite UFC fight of all time
That one was amazing! Great callback
Yea definitely a forgotten great
Fantastic Fight
Wish him the best!
Huerta vs Guida is the fight that got me into MMA
Hate to sound like Schaub but that guy is a stud.
Brendan Schaub... lmao.
I grew up watching ufc and one of my fav fighter of all time is roger huerta, I still remember that classic watching the screen behind the head punch, CLASSIC!
I know! That was a moment for history.
how can such a charismatic man be homeless
No ties
No wife. No children. No extra weight.
Roger Huerta was the original Ronda Rousey. He became a big star right away and started doing modeling and acting and it seemed his focus got taken away from MMA and his career declined. Hopefully he's learned from that and can get things back on track.
Roger Huerta was the best LW in UFC Undisputed 2009.
Roger seems like a great guy from the interviews I've seen. I wish him the best in this upcoming fight and in life. When you hang up the gloves come back to the The Academy in Minnesota and teach.
He teaches in Thailand now
I named my Xbox live gamer tag as his El Matador nickname cause of him. Let’s go Huerta!!
Does anyone know on what station it will televised on
Roger is my favorite fighter of all time. The fight with Leonard Garcia was such a warrior battle.
Rogers story is crazy. Mad respect for this man.
Let's get this bud !!!! Miss that dude so much
He's more humble these post UFC days wish him well
Had he not lost that split-decision fight to Gray Maynard, he would more than likely had signed a new lucrative deal with the UFC (his contract was up). He had the looks, charisma, fighting spirit, everything that an MMA organization needs. Why did the UFC let him go? Maynard was one of the best fighters in the world at the time and Huerta almost beat him, a year before he fought Edgar. Damn.
Roger is a real one....Benson is a tough out i expect a scrap!
Man I dont want Huerta to loose but Hendo is probably my Favorite Fighter ever next to Nick Diaz and TJ
Edgie Braahhh yea this is one of those bittersweet fights.
Edgie Braahhh hopefully they both perform great so there is almost no loser.
Poor Roger. Lots of skill. Lots of heart. Watched some of his latest fights over seas. Although he looked good he ended up taking a beating . BAD beatings. 0-4 in last outings. And gets signed.. hmmmm... hope he wins quickly.
Dudes my idol . Handsome successful optimistic he has a parent less past same as me and he made the best of it .. wish I could be like him .
I bet Roger started smoking that good weed in Thailand. Dang, only 34? He is a cool guy with a terrible upbringing, I wish him all the best!
super excited for this return!!
Roger heurta had the heart of a lion when he first started fighting. Somewhere along the way he lost that dog inside him that wants to fight.
Hands down my favorite fighter
Come on Roger! You got this buddy.
He's rad!
Huerta vs Guida was possibly the most entertaining fight I ever have seen. Two mma legends...
I rarely watch Bellator, but with Roger back in the mix that will change.
Fighters deserve to be respected and paid its sad what they have to go throw to get paid.
I hope this guy wins he is a great person and wish he stays in the states now. Come back home huerta!
Training alone? One fight deal after a long layoff. That’s not a great plan for success in MMA. The best train with the best. You can’t be a great fighter by yourself.
damn he has no home smh hope he wins man
Has not aged a day in 13 years.
Aerial can you get ex UFC and TUF competitor and picked to win season 4 comeback before Dana White kicked him off of show for sneaking out of house and hooking up with hot life guard girl? Interestingly Jeremy "Scorpion" Jackson was the only fighter Big John McCarthy picked to manage. He was also my friend and sparring partner living at my place.
This poor guy. I want him to win
I know that pizza I just ate taste better then it did.. ha ha they all could do better..
Can you get your house back ???
El Matador!.....
My favorite fighter ever but he left the scene way too soon.
lol damn he lost the house
🔥🔥🔥
a tough fight

i hope roger just went to the philippines instead of thailand... not to bad mouth thailand, but its an open secret that asian promoters/judges are engaged in gambling and fight fixing... if roger went to the philippines, he would have been taken care of by team lakay.. they made a lot of ONE FC champs... huerta would have been one
He had been a trainer at Tiger Muay Thai. Its a huge camp.
George Gutierrez II ..glad to hear he had a nice camp.. tiger is really huge.. with the name value of huerta, i hope he can rebound and make a living after MMa
Huertas totally broke
Staying on a friend's couch, but he signs a one fight Bellator contract. Does he even understand financial responsibility?
He's been training fighters at Tiger Muai Thai for a minute. I think couch is more like friends large place.\
George Gutierrez II That maybe so, but getting a Bellator contract would have enabled him to start taking some financial responsibility for himself and to be able to get some money, get his own apartment, at least, and go from there. Even if say his Bellator contract would have been $20,000/$20,000. Four fights at minimum, losing all four would still have been $80,000. Minus taxes, probably $60,000, minus training and coaching, still somewhere around $50,000. That's enough to get a decent start on taking some financial responsibility for himself
