Am I the only one who was impressed by El Neny today? Made some great tackles and saved a certain goal with one of them when he was the last man tracking back (cos Laurent had fallen asleep again). His passes were accurate and he was driving into space when the defenders around him were passing it back and forth. I think he’s criminally underrated in the squad, and we looked far more susceptible when he went off and Xhaka fell into his role. Xhaka seems to be at the heart of a lot of the problems we have.

Only role for Ramsey in the first team is with a three man midfield, but better partner than Xhaka.2. We will play better against Spurs (win, lose or draw). Inconsistency is a huge problem. The Manager alluded to this in the post match press conference, and seemed to hint that the team were not able to compete with Swansea for desire, to win the 50-50 balls.Xhaka and Mustafi are squad players. Wilshire missed, but as DT said, we should have enough quality to beat Swansea. A top CB and DM are priorities in Summer, if they do not arrive tomorrow.
