Informative video tour for my visit!!! I was wondering what time you got into the gift shop when the controllers were already sold out? That's quite insane!
I went the second week after opening. During the first week people were swarming and buying 20 of each controller and that is what caused the only 1 per person limit (considering both collections). the only way to get to buy more is if you go with someone else, meaning that if you want to complete both collections you have to go 14 times if you get them all from the first time (they're blindpacks). And they get sold out fast, make sure to go in the morning
Hey Toyo my name is Andy and I live in Chiba prefecture close to Tokyo . I plan on visiting a friend in Kyoto and I was lucky enough to get tickets but sadly for the 2:30 entry. I want a cushion too but I’m wondering if they will sell out by the time I get there. My tickets are for a weekday. Just curious, did you go on a weekday or weekend?
It’ll depend on whether they have restocked too because even the console keychains, card flannels etc are all limited to 1 per person but during opening week people can buy sets - hope u can get it! Good luck

Around 2.40pm, try to go in the first hour as I saw some people with N64 controllers at the train station (just as I arrived)
