If you wanna do the hardest and longest part u do the main quests but if you wanna speed run and quickly get passed this stage, all you need to do is head straight to the enemy main base, kill the gate captain, Sakon and then Mitsunari directly. Once that u good to pass.
Or ( fun version) play with eastern army , kill ekei ankokji , escort magobe fuse to the position, the nour and kobayakawa will side with you , kill shimazu army and easy win even in chaos/ extreme.
