- Reaching 100,000 words in draft 3! This has been a long time coming but I'm so excited to have hit 100k in the rewrite of DE. I hope you enjoy this writing vlog chronicling my adventures in writing a book. :)

Congratulations, reaching 100,000 words is huge! I'm currently outlining my novel and am hoping to finish it in early March. Definitely celebrating the small wins with outlining. I'm just focusing in on the scenes and writing down as much detail and information as the story provides me with to help when I draft it.

Little win I did recently, is I started drafting again after 2 1/2 weeks of brainstoming! So excited to be doing it; and things are puzzling themselves into place. :D (Also; have been using the technique of side-by-side editing scenes I wrote before brainstorming and loving that.)

I’ll be sending to beta readers when I’m done and then evaluating what to do next based on feedback. I’m assuming there will be at least one more round of edits before querying

I volunteer to be a beta reader. Also, I finished part 1 of my new story with like 28K and 80 pages. Now I'm going to reread Teenage Heroes (nearly 90K words) and start draft 2 of that bad boy.

Congratulations! Question! Do you think that the writing experiments you did this month helped keep you motivated towards the end of the milestone? I know when I get closer, I end up psyching myself out and end up super unproductive.
Thank you! It just changed my perspective of how I approached the page so I think it did help because it got me out of my head a bit and I was less focused on the outcome and more focused on the process of trying something different!!
