The symbolism in the MV is crazy!!!! In the beginning she's in the centre and her dancers are surrounding her like rays emitted from a light (reference to her song). Then we see Hwasa in her "house" judging from the furniture but there's tape plastered all over to indicate the negativity seeping in and not leaving her alone even in her safe space. Then we see the broken mirror in the narrow hallway. Man there's just so much going on with the furniture that's made from tiles similar to the ones in the Maria MV mental asylum scene! The Queen however did not want to stop there so she went ahead with the scene where she's shown to be thirsty but can't even drink a drop of water. For the Grand Finale, she shows herself being surrounded by snakes! Not sure if that's supposed to be a reference to "the garden of snakes" or just trying to convey that snakes are hiding behind beautiful flowers to get close to her and then harm her. HATS OFF TO THE ARTISTRY IN THIS MASTERPIECE!

The symbolism in the MV is crazy!!!! In the beginning she's in the centre and her dancers are surrounding her like rays emitted from a light (reference to her song). Then we see Hwasa in her "house" judging from the furniture but there's tape plastered all over to indicate the negativity seeping in and not leaving her alone even in her safe space. Then we see the broken mirror in the narrow hallway. Man there's just so much going on with the furniture that's made from tiles similar to the ones in the Maria MV mental asylum scene! The Queen however did not want to stop there so she went ahead with the scene where she's shown to be thirsty but can't even drink a drop of water. For the Grand Finale, she shows herself being surrounded by snakes! Not sure if that's supposed to be a reference to "the garden of snakes" or just trying to convey that snakes are hiding behind beautiful flowers to get close to her and then harm her. HATS OFF TO THE ARTISTRY IN THIS MASTERPIECE!
I believe the snakes are a reference to Shakespeare's Macbeth. Specifically advice from Lady macbeth, "look like the innocent flower, but be the serpent under it."

She had to cover it up since she wants to perform it without any restrictions and changing of the lyrics. So yes, she’s genius when it comes to her lyrics! Hope this helps!

But the song is still trending on various of music streams. Like literally all of her songs are trended #1 in more 20 countries. I'm a general music listener I love this type of songs and beat. Some kpop fans might not like this since hwasa concept is very different than the other idols. It also could be a reason why the views are quite little. But like still, THIS SONG IS SO GOOD!
