- The 2016 Plot Day presented by The ALPHA Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. at Howard University.
This is a video revealing the newest members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., at Howard University, in the Spring of 2016.
These sororities and fraternities don't get enough credit for the amount of young men and women they inspire to continue their education. I Give a hand clap of praise to all of you much love from New Orleans.

Alpha chapter always has classy probates. I also noticed the same thing with the Deltas and Zetas.
This be would life changing if young black girls (in high school) that live in not so nice areas of different cities could see this on a regular bases

I am a non believer in the college systems of today and mainly support trade schools as a higher education but wow just wow I love to see how strong of bonds this community has formed with one another and I pray they have life long bonds though schools marriage kids etc. We need more people coming together and celebrating our accomplishments together they are one and work together the power shows in its beauty.

I keep seeing comments talking about, 'they are a black sorority, are they not allowed to have natural hair?' It's like you all missed the whole point of the video. It's a stereotype that black women always have kinky or curly hair. Yeah, they do, but not all of them. And the color of skin doesn't matter at all either. Do you have the same negative description of Zeta Phi Betas and Delta Sigma Thetas? Or just Alpha Kappa Alpha ladies. I had two daughters attend Howard. Neither joined either sorority. None. I was always curious as to why that might be. But they are both pious Christians.

do not own any substantial amount of real estate, financial institutions, etc. Almost as if they cannot realize their own power.
One would think after a century blacks would be farther along economically and socially as a result of these organizations. If Ted Turner can own 80% of Montana shouldn't Black America have their
own territory with subdivisions, economy, art, medicine, etc.
