Upgrading Media Drive to Ultra Fast M.2 SSD Hard Drive

Want a Big Improvement from your computer when it comes to working with your photos and videos? I just did a major upgrade on my media drive from a 6 terabyte 7200 RPM hard drive to an ultra fast m.2 SSD hard drive! Now the Windows Photos program doesn’t hang when creating thousands of thumbnails for my 1 terabyte of photos and videos.
For me this upgrade was well worth it.
In my personal situation I have an Asrock x99 OC Formula motherboard that has 2 m.2 slots. I already have an ultra fast Samsung 970 EVO SSD 500GB - M.2 drive in slot 1 and this 2tb drive I will install in slot 2. My motherboard however only supports 1 ultra fast m.2, meaning I will still get extremely fast speed on the 2nd m.2 slot but I will be limited slightly.
