If you have been following the reporting from the joint practices, the Eagles have been destroying the Pats. The reason why the starting offense isn't playing is because we have a revamped offense and don't want to show too much. Jalen is coming off an injury, why play him?

And he was slow on his running pretty significantly. It’s one of those unfortunate situations that when a player toughs out an injury and still plays, it gets disregarded.

If you watch what happens in practice, and what they are putting on the field in the preseason games, you would see that the reason they aren't playing the starters is because they're not showing any of the new offense before week 1. They want the competitive advantage.

I also believe rain was a factor in NE. That being said, I'd like to see a drive or 2 with starters. Let's be honest though, looking at the 6 or 7 names in that injury report this week, I'm kinda glad they didn't play.
Regardless of new coordinators, you don’t play your starters in preseason because they want them rested and healthy for the regular season, common sense! You think Greg Jennings would know that, don’t expect Nick to know that he just creates narratives to bury Jalen
