Something more practical would be making the equivalent of a potato scotch egg - you’d have to use a boiled egg, but wrap it in mashed potato and seasonings then deep fry that sucker. Could crank out a lot of them fairly quickly and they’d be great.
These boys are fantastic. I watch so many of their videos and there are consistently passionate, creative and engaging. It’s a treat to see them work. Fabulous stuff fellas.
Just your casual 4-5 hour hash brown and eggs. Meanwhile you could just spend 15 minutes making hash browns and over easy fried eggs and put some seasoning on it and have basically the exact same taste and no hassle
The key is to wake up early so you can enjoy you breakfast during the evening
The video says breakfast like chef not breakfast like degenerate f@ke like you
What's wrong with you
He said "it's for breakfast" but I think for the next day

I work at a small bar and grill I’m 25 years old. We run brunch on Sundays and I think I’m gonna use this as a special this looks incredible
Hope it goes good, pretty time consuming for quantity!
@@azaryahcaldwell4462it's just a special for sunday brunch. Your staff can easily prep that in saturday night and finish it off on sunday morning
Better do some practice runs before you post your special!
Get through blue eggs for extra golden yolks

Butter good
This needs to be on the menu
Pay for me. I wanna try it
10 hours later… (in french accent)
😂
There is something about those perfect cut chives in a large mound that makes this so much more appetizing.
Oh that looks awesome! I’m definitely making that for my family this weekend!
I love yourvids and food. So wish I could travel all the way there just to eat all day x
Good lord that looks insane
I'd eat literally anything if it has that many chives on top 😍💯
This would literally take me all day😂
Now this one I really want to try!
Is it possible to freeze these to cook another day? And could you deepfry from frozen or let it thaw first?
Brilliant concept. I'd order that without hesitation.
this one’s gold
This looks amazing ❤
I was just discussing you two with my cardiologist.
got a giggle here
This is brilliant because you could fill the middle with different ingredients.
Feta cheese
Spinach
Etc
Oohh this looks so good😋
This looks and sounds f**kin phenomenal

That looks so yummy 😋
Can someone please explain why 1 h in the fridge and what temperature 😊
It will fall apart in the frier at room temp and the egg won't overcook
This is so posh i love it
Delicious 😋
One of the best
Holeeee shiaaat this looks so good 😮
No one complaining about the amount of clarified butter! Hooray!
Tekkerz
Now that's a name I haven't heard in years
Great ideas
Thank you chef
This is the guy Gordon Ramsay went off on who pissed himself
Where can I get eggs like that.!! It reminds me of my grandmothers , hens who laid eggs that color.
Thank you for that memory, it’s been 53 years ❤️
The fresher the darker usually, free walking organic chickens are also better for the darker yolk
Pretty sure the colour comes from the chickens eating bugs and other stuff.
@@OmniversalInsect😂😂😂
@@smokeysalmon68he's right. Grain fed chickens have dull colored yolks. Chickens that eat more protein (bugs) have a darker color

That looks like a lot of work. And it looks like it's worth it.
He said “excess butter”. Iain Banks called this an Outside Context Problem.

Do you think you could use regular butter when cooking the potatoes
No, normal butter has solids that will potentially burn by the time the potatoes are done. You can easily make your own clarified butter.
Looking at the amount of butter gave me a Heart attack 😵😂😂
If I asked for tapioca flour in my local shop they'd give me a hiding.
That's a huge YES..❤
I can clarify that, yes, that is butter
Really cool
Given the texture of the potato after the fry with clarified butter, would be possible to just start with mashed or diced fried potatoes?
Do you fry the Hasbrouck straight out of the freezer or do you need to wait a bit?
Fuck me, these look incredible!
Some clarity butter. Proceed to put w cow worth of butter.
Wait what shredder is that...omg I like the shreds
I usually take 3 hours to cook my breakfast so this checks out
That looks fucking banging!
My breakfast, Pop-Tart, Mountain Dew
Sweet lord
Hollandaise on top would set it off
Oh yes!

Cost and selling price...How do you make money😵💫Just on this dish??
That yolk is beeyooteefull.
Very interesting
It looks so good but it takes so much damn tiiiiiiiiime.
Do you guys actually serve this at your restaurant?
Holy that is a lot of butter
Hello, what kind of potatoes do you recommend?
This is Gods work. 😂
Delicious
Like a chef? But you already are
I finished making this and it was dinner time
That’s wild bro
Me frying an egg and a bologna: hmm interesting.
Some! Clarified butter. Tons more like
Man I ain’t tryna wait 3 damn hours for my breakfast.
These would work great for prepping the night before the final fry. Not sure if they’d freeze given the egg yolk though
Thats why its called "like a chef" and not "like a normal person" bud
Please do the actual chef breakfast next. A cig and a coffee
Another banger. 👌
Is it essential to break the first yolk as per the video?
What oil you frying it in ?
Can't wait to enjoy breakfast at 1:30 p.m.
Prep them the night before and leave them in the fridge. Fry in the morning.
Wohtah Roohns cleehhh
neat but i have an idea, just yolk it on top of the hash instead of in the middle
By the time you finish, it’s past your lunch time.
