I will most definitely be buying one of these units
bad camera angle, very informative i have seen , thanks
What about welding with the pulse mig?
Our shop just purchased this and I was trying to figure out how to tig weld aluminum? Is this possible?
8:37 Did the machine explode when you push the mig button?
will it do AC tig?
How loud is it? How is decibels when conparing 210 mp 256, 260, 350, and 360? Would love the quietest machine
Noise is very similar, I would say Miller maybe slightly quieter.
@Bakers Gas. Andrew, why is it none of the Manufacturers make a "Big Amp" Multi Process Machine that will do A/C Tig???
To me this so stupid. Seriously, I would literally already be placing my order for this unit if it performed AC Tig. I don't know of any company that has an MP Machine that's bigger than 205 - 210 amps.
I really need someone to explain to me why this is???
Esab has the awesome Rebel series, and the only one that does AC Tig, is the little 205. I would've bought the 285 in a heartbeat if it had AC Tig. This is just bewildering to me! I mean how can their Marketing & Engineering Deoartments nit realize that this is costing them sales.
Please reply and help me out here. It's driving me crazy!
I'm in the same boat. I would live a high amp MP unit that will AC tig. But yea they don't exist.
@@natep1985 I am in totally the same boat. Holding off my next purchase until one of the manufacturers figures it out. Ideally they do it as an inverter unit. I love this 360 and the transformer is built to last but it requires a huge power draw and does not provide all the setting flexibility of an inverter machine.
Everlast 275 lightning does and everlast makes good machines we have a tig/stick unit in our shop and it welds 7018 better than any miller I’ve ever run reminds me of running an sa200 when stick welding super smooth...great Ac tig arc aswell and the machine has been running for years in industrial use without a hiccup
What breaker is needed to run this welder at 230V?
50amp
Beginner question. It is impossible to damage eyes watching welding videos on RUclips, right? My eyes seem sensitive to bright light
the damage you get from staring at welding is caused by UV light. unless your computer is producing UV your good. the visible light may hurt sensitive eyes but I guess so would anything on the screen then.
Will this do spray transfer?
I would imagine a machine that is capable of 300+ amps will certainly have the power to run spray transfer.
Spray requires proper wire size and gas... high argon mix ratio of a minimum 90% and .045 dia wire to achieve true spray. This machine would be fine if using the above mentioned.
