Tim you need to get yourself an ex motorsport trailer instead of a fridge, it'd look sick hooked up the the S and you could have living accomodation in the front AND put the GTR in the back when you go to the shows
Actually a fridge trailer is fully insulated to keep the cold in the trailer.. if it keeps the cold in, it'll keep the warmth and cold out when it's converted Race trailers don't have the same amount of insulation as they're not meant to be lived in.. although you could spend a few 000's getting it insulated
I was amazed to see your video with the Staplehurst Transit fridge trailer. What a blast from the past. Grew up in Staplehurst. Staplehurst Transit originally had there first yard in Frittenden Road, they had two trucks hauling scaffolding, it’s wonderful to see they have kept their first flatbed, I remember it well. I got my license at the age of 21 back in the late 80s and my first driving job was with Transits, bye then that had moved to the yard they have now. I was a day shift driver, they had a handful of box fridges and leased a couple of artics. I now live in Texas USA Thanks for bringing back such great memories and I am so pleased to see how big the company has grown.
Can’t believe you practically drove past my house and I never knew lol , well done getting through town (Maidstone) it’s crap ! And was the correct route 👍🏻
I didn't expect to see you in my neck of the woods! Maidstone is a gauntlet for drivers and I'm happy you made it through! That right turn onto Loose road from the Wheatsheaf pub is a KILLER
Watching from Australia, I'm from the Central West in NSW. The UK and Europe are absolutely stunning, so I love seeing the long trips, especially when you go North. Plus you and the people you meet are all hilarious and come across as very accommodating they all seem like really great people.
08:03 OK, I'll let you know... I'm an international truckdriver and I would absolutely smash up the UK roads because I'm used to driving on the correct side of the road hahahahaha!!! Love you Tim!!! Greetings from the Netherlands!
@@declanwells1887 That depends, when there is slow traffic, I'll be on the left overtaking the slowpokes... Right, let's resume normal activities and remain on the right side of the road, shall we? It's called the right side for a reason Sir...
I’m all the way down in Tasmania so probably couldn’t get further away. I moved away 8 years ago so it’s nice seeing all the old places. You should see some of the rigs driving around Australia.
Australian right hand driver here Drive! Enjoy seeing the UK and bits of Europe in your vids. I've got to say , you've got more than your fair share of narrow roads in the UK !
Hi Tim! Been watching from Lyon, France for quite a while now, always happy to see a new video of yours! You're one of the many reasons why I'm a truck driver to this day at only 19 years old, THANK YOU MASSIVELY!
Love the video Tim! Nice clean truck with a new trailer on the rear; those kids looked happy to see you arrive their yard! That old truck looked cool and also looks like it could be used today - in good condition. With a good day and early powerful presents for Ben all is well. Have a good evening Tim and can't wait for the next video, most likely just before Christmas....😄
8:03 Watching all the way from western Canada. I have seen a few another trucking channel's but this one is my favorite to watch. Keep up the great video Tim!
I’m from Australia and have never been to the UK, but I do have family over there. And I just want to say how much I enjoy watching your videos, with all the shenanigans you get up to.
13:00. everyone remembers their first, dont they? well my first was a BedfordTK i drove sometime around 1990/91. i ended up buying it because it had a fully working hiab that had recently been serviced. cost me 4G and i put it to work picking up scrap at weekends just to make a bit of extra cash. loved it to bits but had to get rid of it after 3 years, business had dropped off, tax/insurance and everything else just made it too expensive to keep going. sold it for more than i paid and made more money each year than it cost to put it on the road. best buy ever id say. happy christmas tim, helen and leo (and bengineer)
I used to pick up the fruit from Staplehurst transits for kent connection, lovely little roads to get their and yes Tim that is the official route😮 Don't forget to pay that Dartford toll 😂 great video too😊
I loved the video, Tim. The R series looks great with a fridge trainer attached. It seems like you, Ben, and Dan had a fantastic time playing on the go-kart.
Love watching tims vids...... reminders of the kid that won lottery and drove quads through his house. All your gear parked in that nice new shed.....all the water on floor...,.. Everything is going to rust......all the mig wore and chassis ect....... Why....
I am from the US and yea I get to see a lot of the UK from your videos. Seeing the trucks is definitely something I want to see more of in the US hopefully in the future years.

Long-time fan of yours! I love recognising all the places I've been to myself on your channel. Love from Russia! The trucking culture here is appalling and your content never ceases to bring me joy!

Your two Lorries are very cool I have many friends that drive Scania my brother drives a R650 and he tows a fridge unit as well if and when you see this can we have a shout out from you on your next video cheers from New Zealand keep it safe out there and keep them wheels 🛞 shiny.
Love to see your Videos from Germany, not only get to see funny content and a beautiful truck but also get to see some of great-britain. Also or especially love to see you go to the Truckshows around Europe! Thanks for your great Videos!
8:02 I was in the UK Seven and a half Years ago on a Class trip. But I didn't see much of it. Now Seven and a half Years later I'm a Lorry driver myself here in Germany and I'm experiencing the UK through your Videos.
Quickest rout to get to Maidstone is the M20. The A2 goes a bit out of your way. If you were local you would leave Maidstone out of it and use the back roads. Use the Tonbridge road signed Maidstone and pick up the a 228. It goes straight to the M20 j4. The only ball ache used to be m25 to dartford xing might be held up if they’ve not fixed it yet since they put in the auto pay system. Also getting to the Tonbridge rd A26 is quite twisty and sometimes narrow. Not impossible and I used to use it going from Paddock Wood.
Im from central Alberta Canada and i never knew Europe's Trucking lifestyle from watchning The TT channel, Its mainly American trucks here and as well as the oil and gas industries has a big impact on trucks and its lifestyle

I second this plus pretty handy for a occasional track day 👍🏻if you’ve got the truck might aswell 🤣

I hella agree with this, would look cool paired with an awesome trailer livery
