  • Yoga poses that use the support of a chair can be done individually or in a series. The series stretches and strengthens the major muscle groups and is easily achievable.
    The first pose (slow-motion dive) is also great for mild back pain relief, especially in the modified version. Warning* Use caution. High blood pressure, glaucoma, and recent facial or dental work are contraindications for the second stage of the slow-motion dive (hands-on or near the ground). Stay in the first stage (elbows to knees) and breathe if you have these conditions; don't let your head fall below your heart.
