You might want to add an underscore or something to the assembly name- "ballshitting."

Good afternoon. Why do my bottles fly out of the rotating drum when analyzing motion? depends on the thickness of the metal? you have 5 mm, I have 1.5 mm. and contacts between each other Acrylic and steel do not work

if we save the file of this motion study, do the balls stay at the last place after you did the simulation because i need to fill a tank with some object like those "balls"

      Hi Fajar,
This can be accomplished in a sort of round about way. You could run the motion study to have the balls fall into place then in the main assembly tree, while in the motion study tab, multi select all the balls to form new assembly or subassembly. That subassembly could then be saved into its own file and maintain the positions of the balls as they settled in your motion study.

Nice video. the balls are moving, but what about proper frictions. I am trying to simulate rolling wheels. the balls in this video are not rolling correct?

The video shows a “basic Motion” tip. For simulating wheels rolling correctly, you would need to use the full-blown motions add-on found in the premium version of Solidworks. Our Motions add on allows you to virtualize your wheel rolling with friction and damping values.

      Hi Uness,
Typically we see this comment for some of our older videos since the audio recording quality was not a strictly enforced in the past. This video, however, is the person's natural voice as you might here it in real life with no recorded audio defects. I am sorry if it makes the words unclear. We won't be able to improve on this one though.
