Love this floorplan! Much prefer the mid bunk room entry from the hallway side (vs the kitchen side) so you get the coffee bar and cabinet storage. Bunk room would work well for our disabled daughter with a few tweaks. We would replace the sofa and build in a bottom bunk with drawers under it and take out the top bunk. We would add more storage under & on top of desk area as she does not need a tv (she has a tablet to watch movies) but she does need clothes/shoe storage which we would build in. Thanks to Jayco for not putting the tv next to the stove in the kitchen/living area & giving the stove some countertop space. Everything in this kitchen has good storage and is well appointed. The flush no carpet slide is awesome. Love the light cabinet color in the kitchen. Drawbacks: floor vents in foot traffic areas - hate them! There are 3 in the kitchen living area - yes 3 - in that small space!! They couldn't have moved them over 6" and butted them up against the island? Seriously, poor planning on their part! My other beef is dark bedroom & bathroom cabinets. With the shades pulled they look like dungeons. Can Jayco please offer a full coach light cabinet option (to match the kitchen) for those of us who don't prefer to sleep in a bat cave! Give me the light spacious look any day. Thanks for the great & entertaining reviews.
Josh I just love you and your videos! Thank you for mentioning adult children with special needs (and in laws!)!! My husband and I have always wanted to be a “camping family” but, our son was diagnosed with autism at 19 months. Even though he is doing AWESOME it definitely comes into play when it comes to what TYPE of camping family we will be when it comes to sleeping arrangements/safety/etc! We so appreciate you ♥️♥️♥️!!!
Ding, ding, ding....the shower is subway tile in a herringbone pattern! The bathroom layout is awesome! The only change I would make is making the seat a fold down seat in the shower otherwise A+! The living room, dining room and kitchen are all terrific! And bonus points for the tower power on the island I just wish they would have also put one over by the coffee bar area and over by the oven and stove area. I like The farmhouse decor. It would be great if it also carried through to the bedroom as it seems pretty dark in there.
Thank you Josh!!! I really appreciate you pointing out the negatives of the mushy mush applesauce OSB roofs of Cherokee, Wildwood, Grand Design and several other manufacturers 👍👍👍
This is the model that I asked Jayco to add a back patios deck. Move the double over to the side and have two separate recliners along the back wall. Then a sliding patio door to the outside drop down patio. My fingers are crossed that they add this to the 2023 line. 🤞Great videos as usual.
Glad to see the awning now actually covers the entry door area versus older models. It was about half the door which would leave you wet coming in/out during rain.
This one is just right for a husband and wife. Won’t need kid or grandkids space, our youngest grand baby, a girl is five years older than your baby girl. The loft will be craft supplies storage, take out everything in the bunk room except desk. Like all interior decor, ❤️coffee bar. Hope you & your wife enjoyed your lunch date regardless who picked up the check. Josh regardless of what type of AC a RV has, you will hear the air on Taco Tuesday night LOL. Load up the roof with solar panels, go camping and have some fun. Keep’m coming bloopers & all
I'm an F150 guy...but i'd not tow this without at least an F350 or F450....probably the later. But if you can tandem a light trailer for a bike (tool chest) this is perfect for anyone who works in aviation and moves around every 6-12 months. I'd love this simply because I could really pull a light trailer with my bike/tool chest. This is an awesome family trailer as well...because you can lock the littles in the bunkroom and have adult time.... Josh You're a truly evil man. You keep offering me alternatives to what I really want. That's not a nice man...
I like the cabinet color and the layout is nice. Road mode is a killer for us. So is the length. But I agree on that type of mid bunk room. We travel mostly as a couple, so it would be a desk and office space on the road. Nice video, thanks Josh
Great video as always! We got the little brother to this last year, 31mb Eagle HT. We are seasonal and at our site we could only fit a 37’ unit. Keep up the great videos!
Great job on this one Nerd! I love the middle bunk room and the fact it has a desk with plenty of room for an office chair. I always notice that Jayco is very good about adding in the little things that others leave out. As a Grand Design Reflection owner it makes me a little jealous. The trimmed out windows look great in there. I would like to see side valences on them so that it prevents a little more light from leaking in when the shades are pulled. Not a fan of floor registers either, but I’m a huge fan of that bathroom vent vs the little 4” fart fan that comes in most units. It’d be nice to have a window in the hallway facing the camp side too. The whisper quiet AC is awesome and should be on everything in this price point! Also nice to see 6 point leveling. Can’t wait til the next one Nerd!
Eagle and Reflection both add a few nice little details. It's what makes them great. It's also what makes the more expensive so ... lol :) Chaparral actually is a brand I have recently been able to get my hands on and I was actually quite surprised by some of the things they're doing. On the inside they lack that LOOK of the reflection/eagle, but the actual nuts and bolts that affect your camping? They NAIL that stuff Like that 6pt leveling you mentioned. I was shocked to see they had it
Hey Josh… absolutely love this model and it’s one that’s on our upgrade radar from a WH 29bh. That being said, if there’s a way to pass on to Jayco to reinforce all the drawers with scraps of OSB or plywood like Alliance is doing, to give more strength, that’d be awesome! Most our drawers right now have staples to hold the bottoms on are all falling out. Just a suggestion that might seem small, but I think it makes the drawers more secure. Thank you for all the continued awesome content!!! Keep ‘em coming!
Hi Josh, I have a 2023 Jayco Eagle 355MBQS and we really like it, the other day I noticed it only had 1 outdoor speaker. I went through BishFix, they requested the 2nd speaker and Jayco denied the claim, they said it is only supposed to have one speaker. No stereo for $85k, Jayco is not being very smart on this, the 2022 had 2 outdoor speakers. I guess they won't be my next RV. Even the lowest cost travel trailer has two speakers.
Very nice, so much storage and counter space and windows. Love the humor you add to keep the video from being boring. Loft would be a great place for my cat.
Would be nice to see a couples 5th wheel. A small office/bunk room and staying at or under 40 ft. Would also like to see the rear outside storage drawer incorporated into more floorplans.
Totally appreciate you telling your viewers that this is an awesome “Park Camper”👍👍👍Millions of RVers that have been camping for decades totally recognize this, but for the millions of first time buyers that may not be aware of this there are thousands of salesmen that would gladly omit an explanation in exchange for a hefty commission☹️☹️☹️
Eagle doesn't offer the 357MDOK any longer. The loaded pin weight of my 2021 355MBQS is 2850lbs, so one ton is highly recommended. It is long! 42ft to be exact! Why is there a footprint on the ceiling above the kitchen island? The whisper-quiet bedroom AC is in my 2021 as well. They got rid of the water dispenser and ice maker on the residential fridge!
Oh yeah I'd love to see you try and show a Jayco in the blue bird suit! 🐦🐦 as beautiful as this is I think it's just way too much camper for me as a single person. It has the bath upstairs, I really prefer one downstairs.
The televator & window is nice, but to me, it's also one more thing to worry about. The mechanism itself can break leaving the tv stuck, or if a cable or something moves into the way, something may get pulled. So I'll go for the storage option any day. I can always hook up a small camera that can show me what the kids are up to. After all, I have to keep my children convinced I do have RSVP above the good hearing and mother's instincts that do most of the work keeping them in line. 🤫
Dang it Josh. You knocked it out of the park with this one. Or Jayco did it. I WISH I could afford to retire and full time in this model. I love the two tone. Beautiful. LMBO you reminded me of a cat drinking from the faucet. Cougar can suck it. Will never buy keystone again.
Jayco doing some really great things here. This is by far my favorite floor plan. I would love to see that bathroom blue expand to other areas of the camper (in cabinets only). No plaid in this thing and I don't even mind the chocolate accents. Not a huge fan of televators, so the swing-out arm is just right. Lastly, please Josh, no more tiktok dancing, please?

We were planning to buy one of these this year before my wife got sick. Question however, if you have the residential fridge and the solar package could you run the fridge if you were boondocking for a weekend with the solar and a generator hooked up to power the AC?
Residential refrigerators will quickly overpower even much, much larger solar packages but they cool quickly and allow for the largest capacities. Eagle's factory solar options alone will not be able to offset the power consumption demanded by that fridge. If planning to boondock with a residential fridge, then you will need to plan on running a generator for much of your stay.

I really like your idea of the spare room as an office. It’s the island that takes up too much space. I prefer a rear kitchen better. I can’t find one for this model.
I have spoken with builders about an RK mid bunk. The way they lay out they’re just massive and most factories don’t have the physical space to make something that long
You're not wrong. Eagle got really aggressive and progressive for a few years and has since kinda cooled their jets. There are some key updates here, though. Dual whisper air now standard, upgraded command/controls, TPMS now standard, etc
@@JoshtheRVNerd I don’t know how you do it keeping up on all of these comments. The bedroom ac in mine is loud! It also seems like it’s 1000 lbs heavier. Probably just on options.

I know. People keep asking for more things to be included and my videos keep getting longer. I'm trying to figure out how to manage that better
is that a footprint on the roof?
Yeah apparently Lionel Richie was in this thing
Do a review in the mascot outfit🤣
I'm telling you.. I'm 100% willing
@@JoshtheRVNerd Do it I’ll definitely watch that, love your videos
*Beautiful new Eagle* !! *The middle flex room is PREFERRED* !! *Different people will use the flex room in unique ways* !! *Would like to see Joshua in the Jayco Mascot uniform* !! #JoshTheRVNerdAtBishsRV
Susan ty for being here even after all these years!!
I really like your idea of the spare room as an office. It’s the island that takes up too much space. I prefer a rear kitchen better. I can’t find one for this model.
I have spoken with builders about an RK mid bunk. The way they lay out they’re just massive and most factories don’t have the physical space to make something that long
This is really the same from my 2019. Not a knock on the video.
@@Familyguy1262 it’s easy. You just have to be willing to work harder than everyone else lol
Seriously though - ty for noticing. It’s a HUGE amount of time here
You said at this price point? What is the price point uncle Josh?
Checking here: bit.ly/381tRVI
Looks like the 70's currently though that can vary up/down based on shipping distance and equipment added
@@JoshtheRVNerd that's awesome, thanks bud!👍

What’s TPMS?
TY for asking Debbie. I never know if I am over-explaining stuff or under-explaining things
TPMS = Tire Pressure Monitoring System
Is that a footprint/bootprint on the ceiling around 2:36 mark? Tell me I'm crazy. Does anyone else see it?
No a few others saw it too. Apparently Lionel Richie paid us a visit
what a rip off wonder if these people ever going to get any decency over hundred grand and you don't get no slide toppers over 23 grand for a decent solar package
