Almost as a beam of light. The Cinelli Laser has been one of the most iconic and influential bikes of the 1980s. The 200 pieces which have been built by Andrea Pesenti and his team under Antonio Colombo are nowadays some of the most sought after collectible bikes in the world. This is not only due to their limited amount of pieces but also because they unite a captivating sleek and aerodynamic design with numerous victories in competitions. Cinelli Laser bikes have been the object of desire already in the 1980s when every rider longed for one of those jewels and every country tried to get hold of a batch of them to equip their national teams. The laser combined futuristic forms with highly pleasing aesthetics, turning them into aggressive sports machines as well as pieces of art. The exemplar you can see here is one of the even more special bikes in a row of unusual laser designs. It is a time trial bike of the Italian National Team. It comes with a small 24 "front wheel and has been laid out for a single-lever operated shifting and a one-by drive train. But take some looks at the pictures, they give a great impression of this impressive time-defying weapon.
