      To me the bigger secret is giving a low offer and the case is still good. This is where medical records and billing are essential. Does it matter what type of car was involved? For example if it's a 1992 Hyundai vs a 2018 Hyundai? Also I had an intake that said she got hit by a former sheriff who got fired for crashing a family and killing a little girl while on the job. Well somehow the sheriff the day of her accident cited her but she feels it wasn't her fault cause he hit her. She also feels they did that for him as a favor. Is this a good case cause we didn't take it and I'm still wanting to know why? Other than it's opening a huge deal. What are the tasks that are so grueling?

      Giving a low offer and the case is still good. My adjuster got so pissed when i asked about the reserve. I believe suing is the answer but the attorney refuses to di their job

      JZ helps (a Florida injury law firm) What about a passenger that was in an uber accident one morning when it was dark and rainy who got whiplash and thoracic back pain due to an uber driver not seeing a curb and ran over the curb at like 35 miles per hour? And never had back issues before a day in their life. They’ve seen two lawyers and because their was no police report (because the uber just dropped us off) and her fiancé was the only other passenger. That person is currently being treated 3 times a week at a chiropractor.

      I'm sorry that you were involved in this accident. You've told me that MTA Transit Authority is liable. Thus, I assume that the accident occurred in the Northeastern United States.
      Unfortunately, I'm not licensed in there. Therefore, I can't comment on this claim. (I am only licensed in Florida.)
      You should immediately ask a lawyer who is licensed in the state where the accident happened for legal advice.
      I wish you good luck, and hope that you feel better.

    Will Medicaid or Medicare reduce car accident bills if a person has Medicaid or Medicare ?

    • @RealJustinZiegler
      @RealJustinZiegler  5 лет назад

      Sherrod Henderson:
      My reply only applies to accidents in Florida, which is where I'm licensed.
      If Medicare pays accident related bills, it reduces the amount that the injured person has to pay back by the person's pro-rata attorney's fees and costs.
      A Medicaid HMO should do the same. Additionally, it should reduce its lien by any other equitable factors. My response applies to a Florida Medicaid HMO. The Florida Medicaid HMO will at first argue that it doesn't have to reduce its lien other than by Florida's Medicaid statutory formula.

    Reserve amounts are ADJUSTABLE at any time. Insurance companies are like any other business in the world in that they have to "set aside" money to pay their bills (to put in layman terms). If a claim really is worth more, than more reserves are to be set aside. It is in no way shape or form limiting a settlement. "Recorded statements can only favor an insurance company." ...interesting thought, but a comment put out there to alienate the insurance company from the plaintiff. A good adjuster will ask factual questions about the accident and maybe general questions about the injuries, but should not be in any way all inclusive of all of your injuries. If there are medical documentation to support an injury, then insurance companies will accept it. There are "bad apples" in every industry (attorneys included!), but insurance companies are people too and not all are out to get you. Far from the truth. Often times, the adjuster knows more about the injuries as the attorney does. The attorney is there to make money, just the same as insurance companies are. Insurance is a HEAVILY regulated industry. It isn't the wild west, and good insurance companies realize that "bad faith" claims only hurt them.

    • @RealJustinZiegler
      @RealJustinZiegler  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for your comment. While reserves may be adjustable at any time, everything I’ve learned from high level insurance professionals is to get the reserves set properly as soon as possible.
      In other words, we don’t want to unleash an important medical record on the day of mediation.
      Also, I haven’t had a situation where my client benefited from giving a recorded statement as opposed to an unrecorded statement.

      If the incident hasn't been reported to the store, the injured person should immediately report the incident to the store.
      The injured person should get medical treatment if he or she needs it.
      The store should be put on notice, in writing, to preserve the video surveillance of before the incident, the actual incident, and after the incident.

    I injured my leg playing pickup basketball and needed surgery. No other player was at fault. Is there a chance my employers health insurance will deny this claim?

    • @RealJustinZiegler
      @RealJustinZiegler  7 лет назад +1

      I'm sorry to hear that you were seriously injured. My response assumes that the incident happened in Florida. I think that your "employer's" health insurance should pay assuming you are enrolled with health insurance with your employer. Also, I assume that this incident didn't happen while you were in the course and scope of your employment. You should speak with a lawyer in the state where this incident happened.

    I was a passenger in a Uber. The at fault driver was driving in the wrong direction on the turnpike (Orlando) and had open container (Whiskey) in the car plus headlights were off. Head on collision. Both cars totaled. At fault driver was in a Hertz rental car. All of us transported to hospital with ambulance. I had 4 months of physical therapy. 2 herniated and 3 bulging discs, neck and lower back. 1 MRI and 6 CT Scans were done. I have another MRI for right shoulder tomorrow. Looks like rotary cuff tear. Also will get 2 epidural injections next month. I hired an attorney the next day. But I love your videos. Thank you for all the information. Good job...
