As a contractor - i can say this man is a absolute legend. Everytime my head is so occupied to where i cant focus i litteraly look at his videos and it inspires me to be like him. This man takes the time to help us. I cannot begin to explain how many contractors are out their that would never give a lending hand or much less give advice to another contractor. Thank you mike for everything sir
Hi Mike hear in Michigan concrete is anywhere from $140 to 170 bucks per yard for 3000 psi and the water reducer is like 20 bucks more a yard and fibermash is seven bucks a yardhow does that compare to where you're at
It would be nice to weed out the tire kickers, but letting your competition know prices would hurt you. Most my work is referrals, so they are usually ready to pull the trigger on their project. I typically get 90% of what I bid, which I believe is done face to face with a handshake. Mike u should hire an estimator, maybe your daughter.
I don't feel letting my competition know my prices is a disadvantage. It hasn't hurt me in any way. I talk to a lot of the local guys like me and they ask what I charge. I'd rather them be close to my prices then way under charge. It helps keep all our prices in the same range vs someone being a lot less.
Mike thanks for the information always you’ve really helped me this first year of business. I have a question though. I’ve just got the biggest estimate in my short time of about 17000 sq ft for storage buildings. How much lower should I drop my price per square foot with jobs that big? I’m in NC and I usually get between 8.50 to 14 bucks per square for floor slabs and driveways.any advice would help thank you I know you’re busy
@@bunnyman6321 nope what I figured out at that time is my bread and butter comes from residential work and I should stay in my lane until a better time comes or until I pay for a contractor license. too much red tape when it's commercial.
This tool is amazing! We just lost time and customers if you are checking emails and text msg even fone calls every day because sometimes 24 hours is short for a construction guys 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😎😎😎😎😎🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇

Thanks Mike for the tip! It is a good problem to have. I spend way too much time doing paperwork I'm beginning to find.
It's time you can never get back.

Yes, I always get a deposit.

Talk about cutting out the BS running around measuring peoples backyards
You got that right.
Too repetitive…same issues said over and over. You can do better than that.
