    Is there a break in period with this board? I own it and have only ridden it about 4 times at a very small resort

      I only have a few rides on this board as well, haven't noticed any change yet. I was expecting the Warpig to be a softer flex. Looks like the Twin Pig is rated softer than the Warpig.

    i’m looking for a warpig, i weigh 150lbs and have a boot size of 10.5, should i get an X-Large or just a Large?

    • @hayhead92
      @hayhead92  2 года назад

      I'd go Large - 154 cm for all mountain/powder. Medium would work as well if you wanted something more park/freestyle.

    What’s the difference between your Warpig and raygun I’m assuming raygun more freeride and war pig more freestyle focused

    • @hayhead92

      Warpig is Volume shifted, so wider and fatter. Warpig also has a stiffer flex and a tighter sidecut radius. Both have a flat base and are easy to ride and play around on. Both boards would be a good candidate for a one board quiver. Warpig might be a bit more fun in the Park and a bit more fun in the Powder. I prefer the Raygun for carving groomers.

      @@hayhead92 thanks I was using my raygun as a quiver of 1 but just got the Warpig because I loved the graphic lmao I figured there would be a lot of overlap between the two

      @@hayhead92 update I do in fact love it one of my friends also got one because he loved mine so much exactly what you said even though they are both flat to rocker it’s a complete different feel the only problem I have is do I ride my gnu gremlin or pig for the day 😂 it was nuking snow today I took my gremlin out which is a great pow board but the whole time I was saying “I wish I took the pig out today”

    Did you find going edge to edge a little different because of how wide the board is?

    • @hayhead92
      @hayhead92  3 года назад

      It does feel a little slower compared to average sized boards but not enough to bother me.

      @@Searchin4tone it's a fun board for sure. Good float in powder and feels stable because of the width. Size down from normal for a more playful feel. It's a good candidate for 1 board quiver. Floats, carves, playful for freestyle.

      Ive been riding a war pig for three years. Never noticed a slower edge change. It's lighter and shorter than my older board, it seems pretty nimble to me.

      @@hayhead92 how tall are you for the board you have? I am 5'9" and have short legs should I do 151 or 148?

    Warpig or orca? What do you think?

    • @hayhead92
      @hayhead92  3 года назад +1

      I haven't ridden the Orca but I believe it has camber which would give it better grip on hard pack. Warpig has a flat base for a more forgiving playful feel. My guess would be Warpig leans more towards all mountain freestyle and the Orca leans more towards all mountain free ride.

      I love my Warpig but it definately suits softer conditions. This video was from one of my first rides on the Warpig and the groomers were pretty firm in the morning making it a bit tough to set an edge. Later in the day when things softened up a bit felt pretty good for carving. The standout for me on the board is the wide feel for stability on jumps and playing around as well as the loose surfy feel in the powder.
