Hi there, thinking about getting into the fpv sector of drones, thinking about maybe getting a cinewhoop to start off, however i'm kinda confused on some parts, for example, how would you bind the drone to the elrs controller and set tunings ect? would you mind pointing me in resources related to this? thanks
Joshua Bardwell just put out a series: Unlock the Thrills: Build Your First FPV Drone Today! Ultimate Beginner Guide! ruclips.net/video/tNwHNYgWnp8/видео.html It's multiple Videos but covers about everything a beginner needs to know including how to build a FPV drone. With a protractor on the frame with the analog camera I am measuring ~45 degrees. This is a cinewhoop so not sure I would fly it at that steep of an angle. PS I forgot to mention I did notice I did not have my Thumb Camera set with a steep enough angle if that is what you are seeing. The analog camera is 4:3 so lots of vertical where the Thumb is 16:9. Cheers, SLOG

There are several balance plug BECs that will power a small action camera. I modified a USB type C version and soldered on the run cam cable harness that came with the camera. Link below on one that may not need to be soldered. I would check the pin out carefully. Did you convert to walksnail yet? I just maidened mine yesterday and first chance I get I'm adding a 1s vtx.....if you did already let me know I have a few questions please

Hi mallow_, I am assuming you want to get longer flight time by going with a heavier Li-ion 4S battery. I would say yes within reason of weight. The 850mHa Lipo battery I was flying only weighs ~73g. The Flywoo 14.8V 4S 18650 3000mAh 10C Li-Ion Battery weighs 198g. But you can run it down to 3v per cell. However, the C rating is only 10C. Point being, with a light camera like the Thumb, and not doing any Acro, just cruising around taking video, would probably work. I have not tried it so keep that in mind. Li-on batteries are typically used on long range quads (eg Flywoo 4inch Explorer LR). SLOG
@@slogfpv5679 okay thanks for confirming, i asked this bec my tx has an Elrs V3.30, and i think the quad needs to be updated also to atleast V3.0, or is there a way to bind this stock Elrs V2.20 to v3.30 transmitter?

You can solder 5v wires to the board for the runcam
