I know it's not a guitar playthrough but hey, these riffs are just beyond amazing... :o 10/10 for Navene's drumming as well.
Yeah, Matt Halpern from periphery actually was their original drummer but then old mate navene here played on their second record and then Garstka came along
this jam is straight up headbang city! Navene's power is fuckin' ridiculous and his cymbals look so good with all of those dual byzance's. also very in love with that mini-ride. 4:36 "YEAH!!"
Keeping it real. We give our artists a platform to share their music and let them use the instruments that help them create. If that means using something that we can't sell, okay. - Chris/Meinl
This is the best answer i've could possibly get. Now i understand why so many great artist using Meinl now. Cause you gave them the freedom to express and you help them grow along with your goods. Unlike any other brand who force the artist use the new releases product. Salute
Smart drummers set there kit up ergonomically as to avoid long term chronic injury and to develop proper technique. An ergonomic set up provides efficiency, allows the drummer to use less energy and have more stamina, helps immensely with developing solid technique and fundamentals and as mentioned, aids in having solid, proper posture while playing (which is crucial for a drummer), reduces and even prevents chronic injuries such as tendonitis. So many drummers with ridiculous, odd set ups that do nothing to aid the drummer except for pleasing aesthetics and some originality in the way they set up their kit. All of the greatest drummers, past and present ALL have similar set ups when it comes to snare, rack toms and floor toms. Angles are similar, placement is similar and that is for specific reasons and is definitely one of the reasons why these drummers can raise the bar with their playing and have such long, healthy careers. Tendonitis can be a death sentence for a drummer and that set up right there is an open invitation for such an injury.
I would argue that a big reason most drummers had similar kits in the past is due to hardware restrictions limiting what one can do in terms of placement. This setup isn’t that strange, toss one rack Tom out front and no one would say anything about it at all. It seems to be serving him and Travis Orbin just fine so I wouldn’t worry about their tendinitis my friend.
My question is, is this a band song or is this just him playing? It’s my first hearing of him and I’m really interested if there are vocals. Someone please help
Angel Tirado I already knew it was cut down. Navene doesn't say until the end of the video that he did it himself. My question to Chris is if Meinl will take it as a concept and potentially refine and produce it as a product for sale.
You never know. :-) We did just release an 18" version for 2018. You can check it out on our Meinl Cymbals RUclips products channel. There's a video of it on that page. - Chris/Meinl
now that AAL has had two drummers who use Meinl Cymbals, it's like dating two different girls who wear the same clothes and perfume. Good but odd in its own way.
One of the greats. The man who started it all.
Seriously. idk if people understand how deep his origins in the scene are.
@@David-rj1ru i personally don't know, but i would definitely like to know more!!! how can i know? what do i have to search up on the web? thanks
@We’ll be right back he was in animosity with Evan brewer and frank Costa well before entheos was born. Check out that gnarly shit.
Ultimate beast mode
It was full beast mode from start to finish and a snare to die for
Indeed Patrik. Killer player!
This guy gets better every time I see something new from him. Not only his drumming but the music is incredible! I'm loving it!
Sweet swwet sound of that snare, that could wake baby Jesus up

I want to clap and congrats Navene and all Entheos band, man, his face from 3:40 to end of the video is the pure joy of motion of playing an enjoying drums like a kid, that’s the most important thing here...awesome!

10/10 for Navene's drumming as well.
not a 100% but i wanna say that might be him on guitar as well.
Nice to hear some heavier shit once in a while!
there really is nothing else like watching Navene play drums
Think I've just found a new favourite drummer.
Wow , this is fantastic...beautiful work! Thanks for sharing your passion in the music and drumming! All the best!
Such solid, creative drumming! Great work
Brings back some Animosity memories...
My man Navene absolutely GETTING some! Looking awesome as always! GOAT status right here!
I'm pretty sure this was the original drummer of Animals As Leaders before Garstka joined, am I right?
Second album "Weightless" drummer and producer methinks.
Yeah, Matt Halpern from periphery actually was their original drummer but then old mate navene here played on their second record and then Garstka came along
Misha from Periphery programmed the drums for the first album
Yes nickleback wrote the joy of motion album and lil Wayne played the guitar then Justin Bieber played the drums
That is correct!
this jam is straight up headbang city!
Navene's power is fuckin' ridiculous and his cymbals look so good with all of those dual byzance's.
also very in love with that mini-ride. 4:36 "YEAH!!"
I love meinl cymbals !!!! Great company also truly has a family felling !!!
I love the atmosphere that hangs out around the background of the mix, especially in the beginning.
Just the right amount of speed, finesse, flash and aggression....fun to watch as well!
Yup, the Dual series are still my favorite meinl cymbals of all time. And Navene played them with exellence.
Fukkin ENTHEOS!!! LOVIN IT!!
Fuck me, that was some powerful playing. Intense, yet beautiful music as well. Top class.
This guys hits with the perfect amount of force. Loud, with intent, but not obnoxiously loud and not weak like some fast drummers.
He's having fun, he needs his own signature ride... what's that one? Like a 22 power bell lathed down to 18?
lastditch727 look in the description or listen at the end of the video what he says
Those cymbals sound beautiful and can take a beating
I had to listen to it like 6 times before I started appreciating it, but I really do now :)
Great playing Navene! 🙌
Never disappoints
This khed is a monster no questions asked..
Such passion and such tasty beats!! Oh my god.
Love his energy
Cymbals look and sound so good!!
very interest kit and cut ride cymbal sound
Killer tone and playing
Criminally underrated drummer . Him and Elliot Hoffman are the best metal drummers playing on records recently
This is like if Animosity and animals as leaders mixed into one band
Very inspiring for me.
That China sounds beautiful
Cut down ride on Official Meinl Video.. LOL

Fretta Mohetta do you use this setup?

BEAST
woooooooowwwwwwwwwww
Fuck yeah!
I love Entheos melodies, but certainly without vocals.
My question is, is this a band song or is this just him playing? It’s my first hearing of him and I’m really interested if there are vocals. Someone please help
What snare is that.... I need it... now...
Tama G-Maple 13x7
What is the name of the interface that he's using?
Fucking insane
Is it an SLP tama Snare drum ?
Damn what’s that snare
Tama G-Maple 13x7
Plini's younger brother ?
His Drumming intensity is turning his jeans into jorts. Let this be a gauge for all drummers.
Hey Chris, is that cut down ride an artist concept prototype? a one off? did Navene do it on his own?
totally hadn't watched the whole video yet. so now that I know that he did it... will it be an artist concept??
20” Classics Custom Extreme Metal Ride (cut down to 16”)
Angel Tirado I already knew it was cut down. Navene doesn't say until the end of the video that he did it himself. My question to Chris is if Meinl will take it as a concept and potentially refine and produce it as a product for sale.

ANIMOSITY
haha it's just so navene
now that AAL has had two drummers who use Meinl Cymbals, it's like dating two different girls who wear the same clothes and perfume. Good but odd in its own way.
As tight as this snare head
