For me I'm happy with the size but I can go get my dad's 2510 john deere. I would look at how often do you need more and if you can take care of it by renting something a few times a year
Do you have Ballast in the tires? If not I highly recommend getting the RIMGAURD ballast. That was my first purchase for my CS2220 and it is the est investment you will ever make. You will not have to have the boxblade on the tractor all the time.
@@midwestreview6382 if that is the case it would behoove you to invest in some suitcase weights and a bracket. that boxblade is probably roughly around 300 lbs. these tractors regardless of being compact as they are still need around 1k of rear ballast if you are doing any kind of real loader work.
Although I have killed the engine a few times tilling it only happens when I hit roots or rocks I have some clay soil and the only time I run short on power is going up a step hill
Do you wish you got something bigger? I’m trying to decide between subcompact and compact. Mostly mowing duties and light brush and grass.

I have 90 lb of beat juice in each rear tire it's needed but not enough because I frequently am at max lifting capacity and sometimes a bit over

I'm trying to decide 22 or 24.5 hp, for that tiller you have. How has it worked out for you with 22 hp?
