E-25 isn't good when firing due to it's calibre, it's because it's a premium TD from when TDs as a class didn't lose camo when firing and they never removed it when the class was nerfed.
You are mistaken , It has the same camo moving as when it's stationary , nothing to do with firing. Something that only light tanks have , All tanks have always lost camo firing that's always been the case from early beta.
@@ImRandomDudethey don't lose it completely but it's reduced to the point they might aswell have none , Only counter is of course using bush mechanics to conceal your firing.
One notable advantage with the 15cm over the 128mm you missed, the weight. You actually get a slightly better hp/t ratio when using the 15cm due to its shorter length.
this is my second favorite tank in the whole game, sometimes i change my gun depending on my mood. also the 152mm allows your tank more acceleration because its lighter.
I always prefer the 150mm. Stay with my heavies, wait until the enemy heavies shoot, then I peak around the corner and take 750 HP away from them. Great feeling.
No one ever mentions how the 150mm is lighter and allows the Borsig to get slightly above 11hp/t, while the 128mm weighs it down to have a hp/t ratio of just under 10...
The big gun also slightly improve the mobility. The main reason for driving backwards is because of the front mounted engine, any shot to its front sprocket wheel will knock out your track and engine and you will be screwed, so given that you will definitely take damage, you should always think about protecting engine.

Speaking of modules Quickybaby, I'd love to hear your thoughts in a video about the radio and radio operator skills in WOT. I feel that it would be really cool if WG made them actually relevant, but I'm not entirely sure how they'd do it Anyways I'd love to hear about what you think on that, since the radio and signal skills have always been largely irrelevant
I personally take the big gun, since it is the Borsigs unique feature. The smaller gun is already on the Ferdinand, Skorpion G and Jagdpanther 2. Also I love the ammunition variety on the big gun.
@Evander Daniel , And also consider to not show the front of the tank to anyone since this tank gets a fragile engine. Imagine the enemy tracked you, and then they shoot your engine = dead borsig 🤷🏻♂️ the 150mm gun is actually lighter, you can feel the difference in the mobility between the 128mm and 150mm gun in summary, for me after more than 1K games in this tank: - 128mm: to get the mastery badge, gun marks and if you want to be really competitive. - 150mm: I mainly use it simply for fun. I mean the tank is sneaky, the 150 gun is perfect to get those big numbers and HE spamming party 😅
Although I am free to play I use the 150mm I love HE for the wheeled vehicles. I got tired of their tires eating my shells. He on the other hand will damage them even if it hits a tire or on the ground next to them. A fun side effect is it often detonates their ammo rack or sets them on fire.
The one thing he doesn't mention is the shell velocity 12.8 Has faster shell velocity than the 150 but the 150 has the loop as you can see from here 11:11 that's how he managed to hit him below that ridge
Having multiple competitive modules and guns would be a great step forward for this game. Instead of being reliant on the one best in slot configuration, players could tailor a tank to their own playstyle while still keeping the unique nature of each vehicle.
imho the big gun is the way to go, just because with the 128mm the borsig is just a worse scorpion... and that fact just annoys me a lot - the big boomstick at least makes it a quite unique vehicle
The RHM with the 150mm is one of my favorite tanks in the game. Have thousands of battles on it with the 150mm. Love all three rounds, the AP, the HEAT, and the HE. All three rounds are fantastic. And spamming HE in the RHM is priceless. Incidentally, the tier 9 WT auf Pz is my all time favorite.
These are the kind of videos I like to see. The actual evaluation of what equipment to use. Food, camo net, fast low alpha gun or slow high alpha? I hear a lot about using vertical stabilizer, but I don't know the advantages that equipment give you. Thanks QuickyBaby. Enjoy
I opted for the larger gun on some of my higher tier tanks, because I seem to always be bottom tier in most of my games. With the smaller gun I can't pen anything without using gold rounds, but with the larger gun I'm firing HE rounds. While the damage is a lot smaller, just being able to damage those upper tiers at all is an improvement!
For any new players that are completely confused about this hopefully this helps. A tank with .06 dispersion on turret traverse but 2.2sec aim time will actually aim faster when its stationary then a tank that has .12 dispersion on turret dispersion with 1sec aim time.
Just grabbed the Borsig last night and it could be my new favourite tank! I wasn't getting on with my higher Tier US TDs and have been working my way through the German line. Despite the lack of turret on most of them, I'm still really enjoying most of these tanks. The Nashorn is great and dare I say, I didn't hate the St. Emil, and had some really fun games with it. Also had some frustrating stinkers too!
Interesting vid since I'm right now playing this tank and experimenting with the two guns. I love that I can derp effectively with the 150 and snipe with the 128. At my age and inclinations, I can set up the tank to suit my mood or capacity, since some days the aches and pains of age make precision sniping difficult. So QB's comments match my own observations, which is nice validation since I have nowhere near the same experience level as QB does. Love your vids, QB, keep up the good work!
you were talking about camo nets and stuff on the tank, another consideration, there is another factor the guns on that tank.... guns with a muzzle break break camo when firing more than ones without it. the higher cal gun on the rhm doesn't have a muzzle break, the lower cal does. While I dont know the raw value, the higher cal is likely being offset by the last of a muzzle break.
I alternated every other game or so on the borsig which I found fun, but ineffective for getting used to a certain play style since they are slightly different feels.
Imo, bigger is better. My reason being that in a gunnery duel, you don't need to worry about sitting out of cover and trading with someone, you can pop out, take your shot, hit him with big alpha and then sit in cover while you reload. Now of course, that doesn't work for certain tanks, in some cases you will have to dogfight/brawl in close quarters, and that's where smaller, faster reloading guns could come out on top.
Where i live here in zurich in Oerlikon is company Rheinmetall i was digging and they were producing guns for germans im ww2 and nowdays they focus mostly on anti aircraft and air guns for airplanes. Then I found out my fiances brother have done some schooling there. Was interesting to passing by this large complex every day with huge Rheinmetall sign on it:)
18:24 I was under the impression that the E-25 doesn't lose any camo rating at all when firing because it's a premium and WG doesn't touch the premiums when there's a wide nerf like that "lose camo when firing" nerf to TD's way back.
That nerf did not activate the 'lose camo while firing' feature for td's... Td's already lost camo before the nerf. But the percentage was changed to be more like it is for all other tanks. If you look at e25 you can see how low the percentage loss after firing was pre nerf and you can compare it to all the tech tree tanks...
2:00 except there is no such thing as "full bloom out". The 'bloom' is dependent on vehicle speed relative to top speed, traverse, turret rotation (but not a step-wise function) and damage on gun. A "full bloom" that includes the max value of everything doesn't really represent a typical aiming process.
Bought the big gun as soon as I had enough exp, so I played enough battles to know the "small" one as well. Would always go for the big gun now. Mostly stay with the heavy tanks with it, wait until the enemy tanks fire, then peak around a corner and put 750 damage into the enemy. Incredibly satisfying (+ the gun sound makes it even more satisfying). And If 215 mm of pen isnt enough, your HEAT has 334. Thats enough for sure. Im even making nice amounts of credits with this gun. Didnt really expect that at more than 1k cost for a standard round and 4k for gold. The smaller one still was more profitable tho, but far less fun.
I used the 15 cm gun on the rhm b wt Because of its longer reload i dont have to expose myself as often to enemy fire. Its not always possible to stay hidden. And you dont have to expose yourself as often and deal more damage
I played a long time with the small gun, but it sort of felt forced and tedious. After I tried out the big gun, I never went back. It's just such a thrill to punch holes into enemies with the big boomer.
I think that the Big gun is the more useful one in battles where you are bottom tier because of the he rounds that still do good damage to tier 10 armored tanks.
I just love the Borsig, it's such a great tank for me, although it could do with a couple of more horses :D The road to it is awfull, though. Thanks QB, for reviewing it!
You can sometimes bounce things in this tank by using your gunbarrel as a shield. Mostly only doable for slower shells and far enough distances to get more time to move the gun. Or facehug situations where you can just point your gun through the enemy barrel to block the shell. Might kill your gun though, but better than taking dmg right?
Hi, I like watching your videos even since I started playing World of Tanks. U improved greatly in your presentation over the years. Keep up the good work :)
If you want to play a unique vehicle at tier 8 that can play aggressively with 750 alpha, the borsig is the only tank that can do that. But with the 560 alpha gun its a jagtiger with a turret.
imo the small gun makes the borsig just a worse skorpion, i rly like it with heat only and the big gun, frontlining, also i think QB should mention the herrific shell velocity on the large gun, below 800 meters per second, makes it rly hard to snipe
I get happy when i see Rhembrants (Rhm-B WT) with the big derp gun on the enemy team and get sad when they are on my team. It usualy means they are bad.
on the borsig waffenträger i prefer the big gun its just so much fun when you land at t6 to t8 matches and i get so much more fires or exploded ammo racks with it than with the smaller gun.
I prefer the more accurate, higher DPM guns mostly. For fun, the BIG guns with HE. The smaller guns are just more reliable in stressful situations, where the BIG guns might miss and cost you the game...

I prefer the more accurate, higher DPM guns mostly. For fun, the BIG guns with HE. The smaller guns are just more reliable in stressful situations, where the BIG guns might miss and cost you the game...
