- Today I polish/compound the faded blue paint on a Nissan Primestar van!
Watch years of neglect buffed away, restoring a deep shine!

@@everydaydetailing6449 Easy mistake. Pol Star is brilliant. I use it a lot. Both inside my car and inside my house. The car turned out really nice. Looks like new🙌

Been waiting 10 months for the 20 year old boxer van that I expected the next week 😂(yeah I did have to re watch that audi video to remind me)
The boxer was filmed a year ago lol !!! I need to edit it which is a marathon in its self some 12-15hr's + of editing, which with the 2-3 days to film .. is sadly not viable on a regular basis as advert revenue on youtube is low, and these are produced at a loss.
It will be a xmas vid probably :)
@everydaydetailing6449 that is a real shame, the time it takes to create content and it doesn't pay enough to make it viable. I, and many others like the content but if you aren't paid much it for it understand why you haven't put much out there.
I remember my neighbor had a older, smaller red Citroën van, and originally it was bright red but over the years the paint had made it more a very light red, mixed with white… so yeah, faded. So we tried one day to polish a part on the side of it, and that already made a big difference. He used some kind of wax, I don’t know which as its been many years ago. He never got around to doing the whole car, so he drove it with the still faded paintjob and then that spot. 😂 But I can recommend doing it, even without tools (altough it takes a lot longer time). It makes a difference, for sure. 👍

Do you clean out the pad as you go . If ve seen other details blow out the pads as they go
Usually I go though 4-5 pads and then wash them all at the end, as a rule I have usually 10 pads in use at any time.
Great job! How often do you change / wash the polishing pad? That's the only thing I never get from detailing videos! Cheers
Hi I usually use 5-6 pads on this sort of job, and then wash them all at the end, I do a lot of machine polishing so have 10 or so pads on the go at any one time.

I just watched the engine cleaning shorts, a few questions; What de-greaser do you use, do you diluted it and if you do what dilution ratio?
green star koch chemie 1:10 for general purpose (interior etc) 1:5 for grubby area's
