I agree with Willam re: Shannel's Liberace. Her characterization was perfect, I found her's to be funnier than Nina's. Nina just played more to that sense of humour that RuPaul loves. Which isn't a bad thing, it's smart. I just hated the critique the judges gave when they said Nina's Liberace had a point of view and Shannel's didn't. Shannel's point of view was fucking crisp dude. So smart.
I also preferred Shannel's. Nina's was so over the top that I feel like you could copy/paste it over any hyper-gay stereotype character and it would fit. However, Nina volleyed off the other contestants better.
Also, imagine if we were robbed of that lip sync.

Snatch Game isn’t about following the character completely. It’s well known that Ru loves unhinged, unexpected comments coming from the characters. This is why some queens try too hard that it ends up being cringe.

yes. it’s unknown what the illness is (for the best in my opinion because it’s none of our business) but it’s been a couple years since he’s fallen ill. hopefully he’s stable now but no way of knowing.
He has been sick for a while with HIV complications. Willam still speaks with him tho.
Rumour is he got sick after years of working with Ru who never visited until Willam called ru out for it
